The course will take place on a private shooting bay in a stress free environment. We will build you a solid foundation to begin your shooting experience with the AR-15 carbine. To obtain an FSC you must score at least 75% (23 correct answers out of 30 questions) on the FSC Test covering firearm safety and basic firearms laws. The test is true/false and multiple choice, The fee for taking the FSC Test and obtaining an FSC is twenty-five dollars ($25). The $25 fee entitles you to take the test twice (from the same DOJ Certified Instructor) if necessary. If you fail the test the first time, after 24 hours have elapsed you may retake another version of the test from the same DOJ Certified Instructor without any additional fee. 4worldlovers: This course will satisfy 8 Hours of training for Calaveras, Contra Costa, Solano, Sutter, Trinity or Yolo County to obtain a California concealed carry permit.

If your county requires 16 hours of training. You will also need to take the NRA Basic Pistol Course. Counties requiring 16 hours of training include : Napa, Sacramento and Shasta.
