The Outdoor Temporary Pool is 50m x 25m in size and is now open to the public beginning February 7 at 11 a.m. The water temperature is 82º. Parking is located in the Granada Beach lot. Parking meters in this lot accept coins & credit cards.


Belmont Pool is closed on Sundays into the foreseeable future. All effort was exhausted to minimize disruption to public programming but not having enough lifeguard staff is a safety concern which has resulted in the Sunday closure. The aquatic staff is working diligently to hire more lifeguards to help mitigate this problem. We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide an update once we are able to reopen on Sundays.

Belmont Pool will be closed on the following days during the summer: 6/19, Monday (Juneteenth), 7/4, Tuesday, (Independence Day), and Sundays.

Youth classes are 25 minutes in length; adult classes are 50 minutes in length. Registration for classes will be taken at Belmont Plaza Pool during regular scheduled hours or online on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register early to reserve your place in class and no later than one week prior to the beginning of the session.

If you are unsure of the level for which to sign up, call (562) 570-1806 to arrange a swim test. Classes may be cancelled or combined in the event of low enrollment.
