Union Pacific will start accepting empty ingates at Montebello at 06:00 PST on Monday, August 18. At this same time, empty ingates will no longer be accepted at East LA. Customers trying to ingate an empty at East LA after 06:00 PST on Monday, August 18, will be directed to the Montebello CY.

Union Pacific will continue to distribute empty equipment from East LA until the existing capacity has been depleted. At that time, reservations will start to fill from Montebello. We will still have the metro functionality in REZ-1. Requests will fill based on your preference as capacity permits. Once we have depleted the capacity at East LA, you will see Montebello as an option in REZ-1 instead of ELA.

Customers will still move loaded equipment through the East LA facility. Both loaded inbound and outbound shipments will be ingated and outgated from East LA.
