Dr. Babak Shabatian is a board certified ophthalmologist and Physician Owner of Ventura Institute of Ophthalmology and founder and director of Cali Eye and Laser Institute.

Dr. Shabatian attended the University of California in Los Angeles for his undergraduate studies. He earned a degree in Bachelors of Science and graduated with top honors of summa cum laude. He then went on to the prestigious Boston University School of Medicine to earn his Medical Degree, after which he completed an internship in General Surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles California.
