4worldlovers: When the Monastery of the Angel’s closed in 2022, the Master of the Dominican Order asked the Dominican Friars to work with the Nuns to find a way to preserve the property.

Responding, the Friars and Nuns partnered to solicit proposals on how best to protect the property, honor the legacy of the nuns who have served so faithfully, and sustain the Monastery Goodies (pumpkin bread!) baking and candy business. Learn more here.

The Gift Shop is open, and the famously delicious monastery goodies you know and love are available for purchase.

The Order of Preachers – the Dominicans – is a worldwide religious order of the Catholic Church. Founded in the 13th century by St. Dominic de Guzman, the Dominicans are dedicated to preaching the Gospel for the salvation of souls.
