At The Dance Center, we offer a safe environment for all children to have fun, learn and grow as dancers and, most importantly, as individuals.

Opportunities to dance in local events and perform in our shows at The James Armstrong Theater twice a year are so much fun. We also have a competition team and a performing arts team which our students may audition for.

Creation Station Dance offers Fun Dance Classes for Kids. Ballet, Tap, and Hip Hop and more for Toddlers to Teens 16 Months to 16 Years.



All of the classes at Creation Station reflect a commitment to promoting high self esteem. They entertain as well as educate and most of all, allow every child to be just that – a child! Creation Station takes a developmental approach to teaching. We have realistic and age-appropriate expectations for children. Our classes begin with a consistent structure. From there we add a developmental theme, physical focal elements (designed to strengthen coordination, build body awareness or flexibility, and in the case of ballet and jazz classes, introduce technical elements for practice), and finally we add a magical make-believe component to tie everything together.

Our award winning and internationally recognized program for kids 16 months through the age of 6, uses an incredible assortment of props , costumes and weekly developmental themes to inspire and engage the children. We help children develop and practice social, physical, and gross motor skills, but our major focus is the FUN! Enrichment is only enriching if your child is engaged and interested in what she/he is doing!

Established in 1991, the Professional School for the Arts (PSA) offers classes and training in voice, music theatre, dance and acting for all who wish to pursue a career in the performing arts or anyone who has the dream of performing onstage.


Our faculty and staff is drawn from Broadway and Hollywood to help provide our students not only the skills and training, but the practical advice necessary to be successful in the performing arts.


Additionally, PSA provides specialized college preparation classes for those students who are preparing to enroll in a performing arts college.


PSA is located 30 minutes south of Hollywood, in Old Downtown Torrance and serves all of the South Bay Cities and Southern California.


PSA offers the most welcoming, supportive, and professional workspace, where comfort and positive reinforcement are of utmost importance. PSA has helped shape me into the confident and passionate artist I am today.

I was a sophomore in high school when I first came to PSA and I was completely lost and had no idea where to begin. Thanks to the immensely hardworking and supportive faculty at PSA I was able to get into a respected Musical Theatre BFA program.

University-trained teachers from Julliard, USC, Bob Cole, OTIS, New England Conservatory, Cal Arts, etc.

We do not have annual or multi session contracts. We want you to return because you want to, not because you have to.

We offer many performance opportunities throughout the year for students to share what they've learned.

We are open 6 days a week. Monday-Friday 1pm – 8pm; Saturday 9am – 1pm.

You can take lessons for multiple instruments and different art mediums under the same roof.

The Torrance Arts Academy Group Music Classes are designed to be age appropriate and focused on collaborative learning. The group music classes provide a fun and comfortable environment for students to grow and make music together! This is a great way to get the feet wet before jumping into private lessons. These classes also work well in addition to the private lessons. The more music we make together, the better!
