South Bay Archery Lessons is an indoor archery range in Redondo Beach offering archery classes for beginners, as well as seasoned archers.


Although bows and arrows have been around for about 64,000 years, comprehensive lessons provide a sound basis for the sport of archery. Anyone can just grab a bow and arrow and shoot. But everything is better when people learn how and why it all works while they develop the correct skills necessary to have fun, to compete, or simply to grow.

We offer the following private session options. We do not offer pre-defined group options for new students and all sessions are by private appointment only.

Additionally, we have other program options, though most become available to students only after the first few successful private sessions and are based on safety during private sessions.

The below programs and groups do require certain prerequisites to be fulfilled prior to registering. Please be sure to read information about each program if interested.

4worldlovers: If you have been wondering what archery was all about but didn't know where or how to begin, you came the right place. We offer both lessons and coaching in the Carson, Torrance, and surrounding South Bay Los Angeles communities for anyone ages 8 and older.

Come join us! We have classes available throughout the week and have all the equipment necessary to get started.

We are coveniently located adjacent to the Carson Ikea just seconds off of the 405 freeway. Contact us for more information.

Trident Archery is a group of recreational and competitive archers who have a love and passion for the sport of archery.

Some of our students have gone on to win state and national titles. Others have become expert bow hunters and regularly trek into the wilderness. Many participate recreationally and shoot simply for the thrill. At Trident, we'll guide you to where you want to go - one arrow at a time.

Safety is our number one priority. From day one our archers are taught how to handle their equipment and shoot in a safe and comfortable manner while on the range. Archery is documented as the third safest sport in the United States, and Trident Archery takes pride in helping maintain that status.

Archery can be either exciting or boring depending on your personal experience with it. Trident Archery instills fun into its teaching.

All Trident Archery coaches and instructors are certified through USA Archery and have also completed Safesport Certification. While our training is based in the US Archery National Training System, we treat each archer as an individual and adapt their shooting form to what works best for them.

We have archers from ages 8 all the way up into their 60s and 70s who compete on a regular basis. Many times at state and national tournaments you will encounter archers even older! We'll help you get started into a lifelong sport.
