The staff of Conejo Children's Medical Group welcomes you to our practice. Our medical staff includes five pediatricians who provide personalized health care to infants, children and young adults with experience in all aspects of pediatric care. Our staff is dedicated to providing care with the old-fashioned medical ethic, "putting the needs of the patient first". Each member of our staff is proud to extend personalized care to you and your family as we look forward to following your children through to young adulthood!


Our program is a unique opportunity for individualized services to promote resilience and help youth and their families navigate a variety of social, emotional and behavioral health challenges. This is typically accomplished over a 3 to 6 month time period with oversight by a psychiatrist from Children's Hosptial Los Angeles (CHLA) and your child's pediatrician.


Ashley E. Dowlou, M.S., AMFT, is an associate Marriage and Family


Therapist (AMFT) registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) in California. Originally from New Jersey, Ashley received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2016 from La Salle University, where she graduated cum laude. In 2018, Ashley relocated to California and graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling, specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Los Angeles in 2020. She has completed the 3,000 supervised hours of clinical experience and has been approved to complete the Clinical Examination to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. Ashley provides patients with integrated and holistic care to meet the individual needs of those she serves. Her clinical experience includes working the lifespan of both children and adults presenting with depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), psychosis, intellectual developmental, neurodevelopmental disorders, co-occurring substance use disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)/trauma-related symptoms, and behavioral health diagnoses and challenges. Ashley has worked with diverse populations within the community as well as residential and academic settings. Ashley’s additional areas of interest include spending time with family and friends, being out in nature, going to the gym, and traveling.
