4worldlovers: The museum is normally open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1:00-4:00 pm. Admission is $10/per adult and $5/per child 5-12. We accept Cash, Cards, and Apple Pay. Special tours and pricing are available upon request.

The Conejo Valley Historical Society was formed in 1965 to save the original Grand Union Hotel from demolition. With that success behind them, the Society developed a docent program and began leading tours of the Hotel (rebuilt in 1976 as the Stagecoach Inn). Fast forward to today, and experience the Stagecoach Inn Museum as the long-standing and beloved member of the community it is, offering family-oriented special events, lectures, school programs, and a fun and friendly group of docents. Come by and visit the Stagecoach Inn Museum Complex and be surprised by all we have to offer including an 1870 country school, a working Blacksmith Shop, an outdoor and indoor Chumash Indian exhibit, Pioneer House, Adobe, Carriage House, and the Heritage Oak patio and trellis. Come by and see what's happening today!

The Chumash Indian Museum is a historical site and living history center. This museum is dedicated to restoring and preserving an awareness of the Chumash people and their historical, cultural, material and present-day influence, as well as the natural environment and historical significance of this site. Through exhibits, events, and educational programs, the Chumash Indian Museum serves as a gathering place for a partnership with the native and non-native communities connecting the past with the present to continue our shared future.


By donating, you will contribute to help develop, preserve, and maintain the museum and support our educational programs.


All donations fund the preservation of existing exhibits and the addition of new exhibits, programs, and events for the museum.


Explore exhibits on the history of the Chumash people. Attend a lecture about modern Chumash culture. Bring a classroom to see and hear firsthand the story of Native American culture.


Browse our gift shop for educational, artistic and decorative items which embrace Chumash culture and the natural world.

Walk the grounds to experience an oak woodland. Stop by the Chumash demonstration village. See the remains of a local homestead from years past. Enjoy a picnic lunch amongst the trees.
