4worldlovers: Harold’s house of Omelette’s has captivated the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles community for many decades, now since 1961. Drawing in crowds from all over Southern California. I personally have been a patron of the restaurant for over 12 years. I remember after my mother’s funeral my family and I came here for lunch and they were gracious enough to allow us to take over the diner for hours even after it had closed. On May 14th, 2021 we were shocked and deeply saddened to learn that the restaurant was coming to a close, I’m sure many local patrons shared our sadness. The staff asked me if there was anything that we could do. I think during these times we all wanted some sense of consistency and hope, so I decided to take over the House of Omelette’s!! It was truly a blessing and good timing that we were able to keep the spirit alive and open just 2 weeks later on May 29th, 2021!!

At the new House of Omelette’s we have been so fortunate to keep ALL of the staff, cooks, servers, managers and everyone that made it so great! Our goal was to allow the community to simply keep enjoying, and the staff to simply keep on working without any change or interruption. We’re continuing the famous secret omelette recipe that has been around since 1961, and have also kept the same delicious waffles! The items on the have remained unchanged! You’ll see all the same familiar faces next time you come down to the House of Omelette’s.

Coming from a background in Health Care, we understand the value of having a familiar, family style space for the community. We hope to keep the tradition alive for years to come.

We have worked to package our meals in a way that lets you bring the quality of our meals into your home. We always love to see you in person, but even when we can't we ensure that your dining experience is top notch!

We specialize in the authentic Belgian Waffle called, “Gaufre.” They are known for their thickness but have a light and airy texture which makes them lower in calories, only 140 calories per waffle. Our waffles are made from the finest ingredients and served plain or with a variety of fresh toppings and are accompanied with home made jam and melted butter. We offer about 19 different waffles to choose from, and of course you can create your own.


We also have a full breakfast that includes 21 omelets which we serve with a Belgian Waffle or home fries, breakfast burritos, crepes, pancakes, various benedicts, hash, and a lot more.


Other than breakfast we offer a full lunch menu that includes; Sandwiches, Salads, Pastas, Chicken Dishes, home made soups, Hamburgers which include Vegi burgers and Turkey burgers. Just as with our waffles, only the freshest and highest quality ingredients go into the preparation of our food. We use a variety of Organic products and offer many healthy and low calorie dishes, as well as nutritional information for selected menu items.

I had an awesome server, his name was Jaylen and he checked on our table the right amount of times. Our order came out pretty quickly. I really love the selection of drinks they have as well. I will be going here again.

We had a great meal and delicious drinks at this restaurant before hitting the mall for shopping. We all had different entrees, and they were all tasty and reasonably priced.

This is my 5th time here and my husband and I absolutely love it. We came in 1/4/20 and was seated instantly at a booth.
