COMMENT: When I lived in Sunnyvale I would occasionally eat lunch at Senzala since it was close to where I worked and was convenient with decent food. Recently I returned to visit friends and attend a wedding. I learned that Senzala had closed. Instead we went to the Galpao Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse for the wedding party lunch. WOW. Now this is an Brazilan MEAT restaurant. What stood out, for me, was the variety of meats offered (sirloin, filet, beef ribs, ribeye, flank, chicken, pork loin, pork ribs, chicken, lamb chops, sausage, chicken hearts. In addition there was salmon, pineapple, plus the salad bar - which offered different cheeses, salads, salumi, vegetables/salads, soups). Lots to choose from. During lunch I dropped my glasses and when I pushed my chair back broke the frame. Bummer. However, one of my friend said not to worry. I could order a new frame at this ecommerce site she uses all the time. She texted me the site and that evening I checked out all the mens eyeglasses frames they offered. Great selection, but I chose a very similar frame to the one I crushed. I decided not to immediately order the frames since the stie, Eyeglasses.com also offered a prescription lens service. It wold be so convenient to get not only the frames but also my prescription lenses, however I would need to send them my prescription. Once I returned to NYC I was able to place the order. The wedding was great and although I had a catastrophe with my glasses, I now have an online eyeglass frame store where I plan to order all my glasses.

You can get some decent Brazilian food at this place. They usually have 5 choices in the menu and I also pick the chicken in tomato sauce (with beans and rice). The steak dish is also well done. I feel the food is pricey at $12 for lunch menu.

I like the location and the place is spacious and good for large groups. It is a self service restaurant and you can get your food reasonably fast.

So I went here one time for a Friend's birthday and thought it was great. I came here again for dinner recently and it wasn't quite the same.
