I tried to learn swimming when I was a kid for a long time, struggled a lot but never really made it. This year, I finally decided to restart it, found Aaron and took the private lessons in the summer. It's like a magic, and I couldn't believe it when I made my first successful side breath in freestyling swimming! Aaron is really good at catching the details of your movements and refining your techniques step by step. One thing that really helps is that he keeps encouraging me to get relaxed in the water to get rid of the stiffness. Thanks a lot Aaron, I will definitely continue the swimming journey!

My five year old enjoyed playing in the water when he was a toddler. Then the pandemic hit and somewhere in there he developed the strong opinion that he would forever only play on the steps of a pool. I knew we needed skilled, patient, one-on-one instruction. That's when we set up some lessons with Coach Aaron. He is calm, encouraging, and really figured out the best way to work with my son. Over the course of the summer he brought him from refusing to get his chin wet to full-head dunks and the beginning stages of floating on his belly. He taught him even bigger lessons about not overthinking, trusting yourself, and how when you persist and continue to try that you can do things you never thought you could. Coach Aaron taught my son some very valuable lessons this summer and my son is very much looking forward to the next school break and a chance to work with Coach Aaron again.

Coach Aaron is amazing!!! It is unbelievable the progress my 4 and a half years old has made from the very first lesson. Less than a month later, my son, complete beginner level when he started, is able to back-float and swim short distance, he loves jumping in the pool and staying under water the most he can, and he is beyond excited to meet his Coach at every single lesson! Hello, my name is Aaron and I've been teaching swim lessons since 1990 when I worked for the City of Sunnyvale as a swim instructor for the public. I've continued with private swim lessons in the years after.

It gives me great pleasure when I see someone become comfortable in the water and learn to swim. Learning to swim is quite different than many other sports. With practice and the proper coaching, anybody will overcome their fear and anxieties of the water and experience the many opportunities life has to offer in the water.
