The Parks Section of Public Works maintains and operates 66 parks. Parks range from two-acre neighborhood sites to 64-acre community parks. A wide range of activities are associated with city parks, from picnic areas, assorted game courts, swimming pools, ball diamonds, football & soccer fields, tot lots, fountains, tennis courts and more.

The Stockton Skate Park is located on El Dorado Street, between Swain Road and Benjamin Holt Drive. This exciting venue for skaters was constructed and opened in December 2000. The facility features a moon, small bowl, offset steps, half-pipe, rail, EMB, fun box, block, piano, and a star.

The skate park is a great recreational facility for all ages to enjoy one of today's most popular sports.

The park provides a safe, positive, alcohol and drug-free atmosphere for Stockton youth. The venue has a variety of popular features and compares favorably to other skate parks in the region. Helmets and pads are required.

A fee is collected for vehicle entry into Lodi Lake Park whether or not a gate attendant is on duty. A self-serve pay station is available directly north of the entry gate if there’s no gate attendant.

Boat launch (per trailer and/or motorized craft): $13 daily (includes vehicle entrance fee)

Frequent visitors to Lodi Lake may find it more convenient to purchase a $50 annual vehicle pass to hang from their vehicle's rear-view-mirror. Purchase your Annual Parking Pass at the PRCS main office, 230 W. Elm Street, Monday-Thursday and every other Friday, 8am-5pm or at the Lodi Lake front gate when staff are present. Please call the Lodi Lake at (209) 333-6890 to confirm when staff are present at the front gate. If staff are not present, you will have to purchase a day pass via the Iron Ranger. Day pass fees will not be refunded. Annual Parking Passes will not be pro-rated.

Lodi Lake Beach features a large sandy beach area for plenty of fun in the sun. The beach will re-open Memorial Day weekend.
