4worldlovers: Treehorn is a general used bookstore doing business in the small Northern California city of Santa Rosa. As such, we offer a very wide variety of books for sale. Everything from paperback copies of recent bestsellers, to out-of-print hardbacks, and rare and collectible books. They can all be found at our store.

Treehorn is located in downtown Santa Rosa, across the street from the recently re-united Old Courthouse Square. Opened in 1979 we have 40 years experience in buying and selling second-hand books.


Our store has been allowed to open for in-store shopping! Our hours are now set for the forseeable future. We are now open from 10 am to 8 pm from Monday thru Saturday and Noon to 6 pm on Sunday.

And, if you prefer, you can still purchase books from us by e-mail or phone & arrange with us for curbside pick-up. Just call (707-525-1782) or e-mail (treehorn@sonic.net) what you are looking for. We will check our stock for you & you can make a credit card purchase over the phone. Then arrange a pick-up time at our front door. No direct contact is necessary.

This is our main attraction. We sell many tens of thousands of them in over 100 individual categories.

Paperbacks, hardbacks, recent editions and vintage copies. We sell them all and have a constantly revolving stock as we are very active in acquiring new titles in all fields.

We choose a few new-releases in a handful of categories: fiction, travel and local interest, food and drink, a little non-fiction of general interest, and children’s books.

4worldlovers: VISTA and Valentine’s Day are coming this month! There is a varied selection of books, lovely gift items, and spiritual tools to support your personal journey. Now in stock are most of the Books of the Month for 2023 (April’s book audio only). Our remaining 2022 BOM’s are now on sale. Each week more used books are added to our shelves at low prices. We also accept spiritual book donations. The section of spiritual, self-help books and children’s books are expanding. Shop at Stepping Stones and help support our Center!

You will find in our store an array of products to enhance your spiritual journey. We have chimes, candles, sage, incense, journals, prayer beads, singing bowls, and statuary. We have an assortment of spiritual books, Ernest Holmes books, class books, most of the 2023 Books of the Month, children’s books, Science of Mind magazine, and a variety of affordable used books. We also have beautiful jewelry, clothing, greeting cards, a new kid’s section, and original art by local artists. We welcome you to come browse and shop!
