A 6 acre park, Warburton Park was named in honor of Austen Warburton in 1962. Mr. Warburton was a descendent of a pioneer California family, and lived his entire life -- November, 1917 to May, 1995 -- in Santa Clara. He was a beloved civic leader, serving as a City Planning Commissioner, City Council Member and a Regent of Santa Clara University, and was known as "Mr. Santa Clara". Warburton Park also contains the Warburton Swim Center, picnic areas, open space, restrooms, a playground and basketball courts.


The swim center offers recreational swim and lessons during the summer. The pool facility has off-street parking. Pool Dimensions: 75 feet x 45 feet; depth of shallow end is 3 feet; depth of deep end is 10 feet. Small Pool - 40 feet x 30 feet; depth at the edge is 2 feet 6 inches and depth at the center is 3 feet.

Summer Season - March 13, 2023 to October 31, 2023 - Open Swim and reserved Lap Swim times daily.

Kids Swim Programs - conditioning programs for ages 5-17 for an additional fee.

Swim Team - Mid-April to July - Children work to improve their strokes and times.

Fall Swim - Late August through October - a nine-week program.

Private Lessons available for adults, children, or a parent/child combo. Lessons are only available to members.

We go to the Campbell location on Saturdays. Nice, clean private residence, outdoor pool. Outdoor private facility for restroom, shower, and changing. Adult and child lessons available. As long as you plan ahead a couple weeks, it’s easy to get an appointment at any time of day. Darcy and Charles have both done an excellent job reading cues from our children to push their skills within their comfort zones, and maintaining an extremely safe environment.

I developed a fear of deep water due to a childhood trauma, and I was always the lame person who misses out on cool water based activities because I'm a chicken. My friend recommended this place as she was taking her grade school daughter here for swim lessons with an instructor called Daniele. The online scheduling was very easy to use but can be frustrating because you can't get the hours you may want, especially week day hours for working people like me(the only con if you ask me)I had to camp the site daily for a while to hope for cancellations that free up hours that work for me. There is also a 24 hour cancellation policy if you don't want to lose $. I think that's fair for a business to require that, how else can they stay afloat (no pun intended). As for the swim instructors, I have nothing but praises for all of them. They were so professional and had so many techniques that helped a nervous person like me overcome my fear of drowning after 3 lessons! How cool is that? Ev...

For several years before we found The Swim Pro we were putting our kids in the typical group lessons at various places - YMCA, community center, etc. - and during this time I realized that in their half-hour lessons (consisting of 5 or 6 other kids), my kids were receiving only an average of 5 to 6 minutes of individualized instruction...no wonder it was taking such a long time for my kids to progress! While lessons here may be more expensive, they worked so fast because my kids received 1-on-1 instruction (or 1-on-2 in semi-private lessons) and therefore had much more time 1-on-1 with the instructor. They did not need to go back for more lessons after a few sessions.
