Since 1961, the Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club has served shooters from its foothill site in Cupertino, California, opposite the Stevens Creek Reservoir (15 miles west of downtown San Jose, CA). See our Directions page for the club's location.

Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club is open to the public. We offer informal and competitive rifle, pistol, and shotgun shooting to the public on Saturdays.

NOTE: We do not rent or sell firearms or ammunition. We do not offer lessons.

Cost is $25/day for the rifle/pistol range, $7/25 targets for trap. Cash/check/credit card accepted.

Public shooters must present a U.S.-based photo ID to the Range Master or Trap Captain at sign-in

Public shooters must be over 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult

Public shooters may not conduct any firearms tourism nor business, nor sell anything on the property, without the prior approval of the management of the Club. This includes the parking lot.

My partner and I had a hard time finding a wedding venue. We didn't want that rustic barn vibe, but country club options felt a bit too stuffy and buttoned up for us. Then we found Blanco and fell in love. The venue itself is totally beautiful, and the Blanco staff (we worked with Hailey) is professional, responsive, and just generally lovely. They helped us coordinate rentals, drop offs, etc, and all went well! We also had our wedding catered by one of Blanco's partner restaurants (Chef Javi from Farmer's Union) and it was AMAZING! Truly the best food I've ever had at a wedding. Highly recommend all around.


This venue is amazing and breathtaking. I had the pleasure of working with Hailey to throw an event for my company and she was great to work with! She's very detail oriented, friendly, and helped us piece together our vision for the event. She also recommended some great vendors such as Heart of Gold DJs (DJ Christie!) who helped make the event run very smoothly. The venue has an outdoor mezzanine, rooftop, a large indoor space, all conveniently located in Downtown San Jose. There isn't a dedicated parking lot but there is a city lot conveniently located next to the venue. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to throw a memorable event.


We just had our wedding at this location on September 26th. We were their first wedding. The place is beautiful and has a beautiful urban feel. There are 3 floors to the venue. We booked the mezzanine (2nd floor) and rooftop (3rd floor). It is really nice to have separate floors because you can have your dj and bars on one floor to party and have a more mellow area for your guests on another (which is what we did). It allowed my guests a pleasant experience since half of my guests love dancing and drinking and the other half are more mellow non drinkers. The skyline views are to die for. The sales manager Emerald is really sweet and flexible. I recommend you check the place out! You will fall in love.


Came here for their first tasting event. The event was a Japanese menu with A Japanese spirit pairing. Emerald was the event manager and she did a great job networking and providing information on the event. She was friendly and checked on all patrons. The cocktails were made by bartenders at five points bar, and let me tell you they were so good! The food was all locally sourced and were dishes that I could tell were carefully crafted. The quality of food and drinks was well worth the price of the event. Me and my boyfriend were celebrating our anniversary and this event was a great way to do it. The venue was clean and the staff was being mindful of social distancing. We had our own table and were able to enjoy the evening from their rooftop terrace...
