4worldlovers: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Neger since he started his practice in San Jose. Prior to him I was under the care of a private-practice Ophthalmologist in Walnut Creek and a VA Ophthalmologist in Martinez. A gifted eye surgeon, Dr. Neger noticed beginning stage Glaucoma prior to either of the other care-givers. Apparently there was a slight discrepancy in the mass at the center of one of my eyes. He has been following this closely and has helped me work with the Veterans Administration to process a claim for a service-connected disability. He and his staff have proven to be competent, caring professionals. They are all bilingual; English and Spanish. The receptionist, who is very intelligent, is also proficient in other languages. I have always been treated with courtesy and respect. From what I have observed all other patients, especially the elderly and very young, are treated with the same courtesy and empathetic respect.

Dr Neger is great, he really helped me with my photophobia and PTSD migraines. I had a misunderstanding with the office but it got resolved professionally. I reccomend going here for care.
