My client is a couple who have been living in their home for 28 years and have grown tired of their dark, outdated kitchen that has very little storage and no room to move around. I was hired to create space, light, and an open feeling in this much-used area of their home.

The process quickly became daunting because once they started the remodel, there were things behind the walls that just couldn’t be ignored. What started out as a simple kitchen expansion grew into almost every room in the home being altered in some way. Through communication and collaboration, we’ve turned what could have been a very stressful event into a truly pleasurable experience.

The outcome is a light and bright space created by removing the wall between the dining room and kitchen and installing beautifully-painted cabinetry in a soft cream that compliments the granite and marble backsplash. There’s plenty of storage to make the most of this kitchen and my clients love where this project is going.
