This location both reservable and non-reservable picnic areas. Non-reservable picnic areas are occupied at a first-come, first-serve basis.

The site will be opened to the public for general use at 10:00 a.m. if the reservation holder is not present. An adult representative from the group must be present at all times.

Effective April 1, 2021, City of San José Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) will resume paid parking at regional parks and destinations.

All city payment machines will display multilingual signage reminding customers to wear a mask and maintain a safe distance from others while paying. Employees will follow safe cash handling procedures as well as routine machine cleaning.

Parking fees are $6 per day, and subject to change as normal operations resume. Discount cards and hang tags issued from April 2019 through March 2020 will be honored to receive a full year of value. When the Leininger Community Center reopens, the Department will begin issuing new hangtags and discount cards.

Parking fees are collected daily. Each automated machine accepts exact cash (change is not dispensed) and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card). Parking space is not guaranteed and re-entry may not be allowed when space is unavailable. 4worldlovers: The Campbell Skate Park is located at the Campbell Community Center, just off Campbell Avenue, west of Winchester Boulevard. The Campbell Skate Park is an unsupervised facility and only open during specified hours.

Required Safety Equipment -- Helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads are required for participating.

Taught by our experienced Skate Park Instructor Staff, skateboarding lessons and camps provide a fun and safe environment to help gain confidence and skills. Lessons offer formal techniques, tips, and advice to help you achieve your skateboarding goals. Lessons are held year round. Summer Camps are available during summer season.

This class, held once a week, is geared toward those with little experience on a skateboard. Students will learn such skills as pushing properly, foot positioning, turning, and orientation with obstacles. **Please note the Skate Park is closed to the public during classes.

Take the next step in skateboarding and develop more advanced skills! This class is for those with skateboarding experience, are comfortable on a board, and able to push and go down ramps. Students will learn new trick progressions, including kick flip, lip tricks on the half pipe, and flat land tricks.

One-hour private lessons offer personalized instruction and attention to meet your skill level. Private lessons are offered for individuals or semi-private groups (1 or 2 participants) and are tailored to meet specific skills and abilities.

Skate Park Rentals include exclusive use of the Skate Park and one Skate Park Supervisor to monitor the facility. The Skate Park is available for rent during non-operating hours (in the mornings or afternoons before the park opens or all day on dates the park is closed). Helmets are required. No bikes or motorized vehicles allowed in the Skate Park.
