ADEGA, is the first and only Michelin-starred restaurant in San José, California. Currently, ADEGA is also the only Portuguese restaurant in the US be recognized with a Michelin star. Meaning wine cellar, ADEGA represents authentic cuisine at its very best. Simple but elegant food is perfectly complemented by the restaurant’s smart casual environment. Our key to success is our modern approach to old classics and using the best ingredients available seasonally. Our wine room offers a selection of more than 500 of the best Portuguese wines.

Our current Chef’s Tasting Menu experience is offered as a 7-course menu. There are three optional wine pairings, regular, premium and reserve.

With advance notice, we may accommodate some dietary requests. We are happy to accommodate pescatarian and vegetarian requests. We are unable to accommodate severe gluten, soy, nut, shellfish, dairy or meat allergies. We are also unable to accommodate vegan requests.
