Ed graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration - Marketing and worked as an Account Executive at an Advertising Agency, while Kathy with a retail management background worked as a General Manager at Jamba Juice when they chose to attend their respective trade schools to earn their CA State License and Certification.


Ed studied Massage Therapy & Health Education at the National Holistic Institute (NHI) and


Kathy studied Esthetics, Skin Care & Waxing at the Marinello School of Beauty.


It was in 2006 that TrioSpa - Massage, Facials & Waxing officially opened its doors. TrioSpa's original location operated out of a Barn House located in Santa Clara, CA.

In 2009, they moved to a new home and relocated TrioSpa to The Alameda in San Jose, CA.
