Special Sunday Service Schedule on Nov. 19: Celebrate Trinity Cathedral's 160th Anniversary

This Sunday, we will have our normal 9:00 a.m. service at The Villages community and 1:00 p.m. Spanish-language service. We will not have our normal 10:30 a.m. English-language service. Instead, Bishop Lucinda Ashby and the clergy and musicians of Trinity Cathedral (est. 1863) will celebrate of 160 years of ministry with a special Choral Evensong at 5:00 p.m. followed by a festive reception in the Great Hall. All are welcome!

Join Dean Julia on 11/15 and 11/29 for the final two classes on the history, purpose, and shape of our Eucharistic liturgy. You'll be surprised by how much symbolism is embedded in each prayer and gesture, and you'll become a better informed (and formed) communicant. We will read a very modest amount from this book, which may be purchased online. Please register for the class here.

Come to the kitchen of the Great Hall, and please bring a mask, if you'd like to help prepare a meal for the shelters that Trinity supplies. You'll not only be serving others, you'll be working with a great team of fellow volunteers! Contact us for more information.
