Andy Z: An iconic toy store that is now closing its doors. Staff were very friendly and they still have some cool stuff from their liquidation sale. Definitely a loss for SF as the store is one of the inspirations behind Toy Story.
Timothy Neumann: So sad that this place is closing down. It was opened in 1966. It had a lot of comic books and anime figurines. There was a wide assortment of toys, including puzzles and things with educational focus.

momo: I was so happy to visit Woot Bear while in town. Parking and getting into the store was actually quite horrendous on the weekend. It's great folks want to stop in, but at least buy something instead of stand catatonic in this small store and block other folks from shopping. I came back on a weekday and it was much more manageable. I love that they carry the PopMart items you can only get overseas. They also had Ngaew Ngaew which is also extremely hard to get. It may be a small store, but they pack a lot in here and there is something for everyone.

Adira Benner-Cuasay: Adorable place with lots of really cool collectibles! While they offer more famous figures such as gudetama and unicorno, they have lots of interesting finds that you might not see ever again! Eddie Valadez: The Lego Store located in the SF Westfield mall is very small and surprisingly busy. Most customers were browsing and admiring the Lego models. I never realized how Legos were priced. Expensive but unique.

I love that there is so much stuff there but don't like how there isn't more variety in clothing sizes for kids and adults. I'm so super sad that many Disney stores are going to be closing for good this month. Online shopping is Really starting to Ruin in store shopping experiences. No amount of detail information about a product online does justice to actually seeing and feeling the item. Rumor has it, Target stores might section out an area for Disney products. It definitely will Not be the same as a actual Disney store experience.

South Bay Vegan: It's a modestly sized shop tucked away in the side streets of Chinatown. The charming & homely atmosphere makes browsing their densely packed shelves a genuine and welcoming experience. Small businesses like this are what make SF shine!

Sobaka: By far the best place to get gunpla in the bay area! There's a huge selection of kits and their at a good price too considering online prices

Jeff Ho: Ying Hobbies & Toys used to be on Sacramento St. seven years ago. They have a good selection of Gundam models at a reasonable price. It is nice to see those kits in person. Their advantage is they sometimes have rare premium Bandai kits available. It is nice to walk inside a hobby/toy store nowadays because most are extinct. The store itself is a mess. There are kits in-progress everywhere. They also have a limited selection of Hong Kong DVDs of concerts, movies and TV shows.

His patient prodding and encouragement kept everybody entertained for way longer than I thought possible. Oh yeah, the puzzles are fantastic - we bought a few and have yet to get board! Excellent stop!

Yuval Heller: We spent a few hours here as a family with three kids ages 9-15. We enjoyed it very much. All food is gluten free, which was also a great advantage for us, as one of our kids has celiac. Great atmosphere. Large selection of games. It is recommended to reserve a table in advance on weekends.
James Matthews: Bought a couple of puzzles here. I love mechanical puzzles like this. Went there last night and while I could have easily just walked out the guy working was great. He immediately handed my kid a puzzle and got him interested and he showed me the good ones and talked to us about them and made it fun for the whole family even though I'm the one that drug them in there. Give that guy a raise.

There's alot customers should not touch, but there's also alot that the customers can play with and experiment with. The staff on hand was hospitable and did not mind at all that we took a while to make decisions and provided alot of info to help us determine what made the most sense for our age range/ ability. I think this was the best way to go about purchasing a puzzle rather than ordering something off the internet, it was a very pleasant in person shopping experience. Thank you!
