The will of the Truth is to throw away the human mind and change it to the true mind, which is the Universe mind. People take pictures of everything in the world and store them in their minds. But their pictures are false and because people have false pictures, they are incomplete. If people discard the false human mind and are reborn with the true universe mind, they have the living mind of Truth.

4worldlovers: Begin by finding a comfortable posture right where you are. It is not necessary to sit cross-legged on the floor to develop mindfulness. Next, take a few luscious breaths on your own and press play to allow Augusta Hopkins to guide you in meditation. Close your eyes and enjoy the experience of cultivating presence.

Presence is always available. Through the practice of mindfulness we develop the ability to access it. Look up from the screen for 5 deep breaths. What can you see? What sensations do you notice in the body? What do you hear or smell? Anything Pleasant? Soak it in! Every moment has wonders in it. We just typically overlook them.

In one week my everyday experience has been enriched. I am somewhat more confident and less bothered by small distractions. I have been having good dreams for a change. It is easier to do things that require attention to detail. I have more patience for example I didn’t feel bothered by taking care of a sewage stoppage at our house, followed by a dead car battery. I did 3 hours of cleanup while the plumber worked at snaking the pipe. Then I spent 2 hours cooking a Coq Au Vin (Julia Childs recipe) and it was an enjoyable task. Also stock market ups and downs don’t stress me out. Meditation has become a period of enjoyment and relaxation I look forward to rather than thinking of it as a task as I initially did.

I have tried several forms of meditation and have definitely benefited from those experiences. However, TM is in another category. Each meditation is easy and effective—and I look forward to it. I have already noticed improvements in my mood, work, and overall well-being.
