Since I live in Florida, I had to rely on photos, phone calls, and email to make my decision. Maria was prompt and responsive in communicating with me. She gave me clear cost figures, described various services, and let me know which stylist would be assisting me -- all of which gave me a sense of confidence. Maya, the stylist, was perfection. Camille Hao: I would absolutely recommend Jen for your special day. She was very responsive and organized leading up to my wedding. Jen was flexible and came to my apartment so I was comfortable during our time together. She was personable with me and my family and made me feel and look beautiful. I sent a few photos of what I wanted and she nailed the hair and makeup look I was going for, and then some. I got natural makeup with airbrush and a low chignon so that I could look like me but still special for my big day. I got so many compliments and the best part is that my hair and makeup lasted from 10 AM - 11 PM with only lipstick touch ups! If you’re looking for someone down to earth and professional, hire Jen ASAP.

Tiffany Lin: When I first looked through pictures of Jen's work on Instagram, I knew I wanted her to do my makeup and hair for my wedding! Jen is also the sweetest. I skipped the trial, showed Jen examples and also described what I wanted: a natural, soft, timeless look. I don't wear makeup often, and when I do, I keep it pretty light. For my hair, I just wanted it half up and with loose curls and some flowers. On the day of, Jen showed up early which is great for a nervous bride. I absolutely loved my makeup and hair!!! Both were exactly what I wanted. My husband said she did an amazing job, and I received compliments from other family members and guests. My makeup also turned out really well in the photos. Jen really seems to know what makeup will compliment each individual. Would definitely recommend!

April put me at ease and mentioned that her and her team had done this many times before and it definitely showed.April is super organized and on top of all of the small details. From finding additional hair and make up artists to coming up with the day of schedule to send to the bridesmaids and our wedding planner. She was quick to respond to my emails and was always willing to answer any question or address any concerns I had.Something that stands out about April is her attention to detail. Trust me, nothing will make you feel more beautiful on your wedding day than having your hair and makeup done to perfection. I am very particular about my makeup... I usually just wear a little tinted moisturizer and mascara on a daily basis and avoid looking too done up at all costs. For my wedding day I just wanted to look like a better version of myself and April really came through. She's a perfectionist with her art form but is also just a fabulous person to be around. Beverly Williams: I had my deep cleansing facial and scalp treatment with Stella. It was really great to have Stella works on my skin. She is really calm and patient, will listen to your concerns and explains what all steps/products she will using and why is she doing it. She will also advice you what product or care you need for your skin. She doesn’t push to buy products. Her massage was on the spot relaxing all your muscles. Fern Collins: I was referred to Stella from a friend. My friend has really well defined brows. I've been wanting to get my brows done for quite some time but always worried how they would turn out, if they would heal correctly, and if they would be symmetrical. For anyone on the fence, I would recommend Stella. I was looking for hairlike strokes and she did exactly that micro strokes. It looks extremely natural and it was exactly what I was looking for. Stella is really sweet and also very detailed oriented. She made sure to take her time when shaping the brows prior to the process. She made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had. After, her skin was GLOWING! She raved about all of Stella’s skin tips and tricks, she loved all the steps, and she even bought facial package for more facials. I am in my twenties, with dry skin, and I received the oxygen facial. It was a dream. She not only is so kind and gentle, but extremely knowledgeable on what specifically is the root of any skin problem areas you may have. Judy Edelman: Stella carefully removed my previous eyebrow procedures. When they had gotten to the point of a "clean slate," Stella measured my face and made marks on my face to show what she would be planning to do. After some discussion and fine tuning, we agreed to the desired shape and additional effects to compliment/cover up the previous procedures before execution. What I appreciate about this process was the leveling of expectations. First off, my face is uneven, which is a given. Secondly, each side of the eyebrows may or may nor absorb ink evenly. When we have no emotions versus when we smile or talk may make our eyebrows move differently. As long as it looks natural as we make expressions on our face, that's all that matters. I'm relieved to know that no one will stare at my face long enough to scream at me that a strand or two is out of place.

Sheryl Patel: Tamra did makeup for my headshots, which were long overdue. I was very nervous going into it since I do not wear alot of makeup and I am generally camera shy. She asked for inspo images on what look I wanted to achieve and she nailed it on the day of. When I got home after the photoshoot, my partner's jaw dropped to the floor and I just recently got a glimpse of the unedited images from the shoot and my partner didn't even know it was me when I showed him the images! It is a bit difficult to find someone who has experience in working with different skin tones so I am so happy I found Tamra. Crystal Shurett: I took an express makeup lesson by Chris about two years ago when I was just about to finish college and decided that I needed to get a makeup routine down so that I could look professional in the work place. I had some makeup that I would wear occasionally and Chris suggested that I bring my current makeup bag with me. I did and he showed me how to properly use everything and showed me new ways of using some of my makeup. He also showed me a few new products that I should incorporate which I use pretty much every day now. He was so personable and really listened to what I wanted to get out of the lesson. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. Also, his makeup is great quality at a reasonable price--I'm still ordering his corrector wheel because I haven't found anything that beats it.

I've been to dozens of salons, and the stylists always say "trust me, trust me." And every time I've ended up with brassy, orange hair. Not with Jade! She gets you the right shade of blonde to compliment your skin tone. She does awesome ombre, highlights, whatever. Plus, she's fun to talk to and very flexible with scheduling.
