It cost us less than half of the price quoted by Geek Squad, and he managed to do it less than a week.San Francisco is so full of super talented individuals who own these small businesses. Stopped by to ask if they thought they could do anything to fix it and they were able to squeeze me in for a same-day emergency fix-up. Phillip not only managed to get it back up and running from a completely corrupted OS, but all my personal files were still intact and I swear it looks and runs as if it were brand new. I was on the edge of despair and this place saved me in a matter of hours. I'll be back again for sure if I ever find myself with computer troubles!

I had not only snapped off the connectors, but took some of the circuit board with it. I knew it was broken, but still needed to retrieve the data from it.The technician was not only solder all the prongs back on the circuit board, but also bridge the gap between the prong and the missing circuit board trace. This didn't take long and I could wait while it was being repaired.Due to the nature of my USB formatting, I could only test it at home. When I got back, the device was recognized and I could I could connect and remove all the data from the device.Thank you Actnet Computer Services!

I called Grey Matter, and I was told that I could come that night to bring the computer in. He figured out that the motherboard had stopped working, and so he ordered a new one and installed it when it arrived a couple days later. The computer has been working perfectly ever since. And the price for all of this was very reasonable... cheaper than a big computer store. I'm definitely going to be coming back here if I have any other computer problems.

Michael Warmington: . Thinking I had lost all my outlines and desperate, I arrived at Rich's door at 7:45pm on a Wednesday night. Long story short, he not only was able to recover my documents, but spent an hour with me to ensure everything worked. He also lent me an adaptor to take with me to fully extract all my data onto a new hard drive. He was helpful, understanding, and saved me in my time of need. If you have an emergency of any kind and are sick of getting treated like you're at the DMV, do not hesitate to contact Rich. He's also very affordable and will be my go-to for all future computer related emergencies.

Today I had a major problem trying to use my camera and microphone on a zoom meeting. I called 911 PC Help, and the owner answered the phone immediately. Despite sounding extremely busy, he took time out and assisted me in resolving the zoom meeting problem with my camera and my video. He was so qualified and skilled at resolving my computer issue, that he resolved it in a matter of minutes. Gnome Chomsky: Wanted to leave positive feedback for Rick. Over the years he’s built me multiple desktop systems and they exceeded my expectations each and every time. His knowledge, turn around time, and even the price for hour labor here is awesome. Even the due diligence to cable management and maximizing all USB ports is there!This may sound hyperbolic, but what you get vs what you pay for is awesome… maybe the most reasonable in the entire city of San Francisco in terms of hourly rate & value. My absolute favorite thing about him is that there’s no agenda to sell you overpriced elements to a build that other little in terms of a mechanical return. No upsell on liquid cooling, or even an attempt to layer more sticks of RAM into your tower. If you ask him a straight question, he will give you an honest answer. IMHO, this is exceedingly rare with service professionals who seem to relish adding unnecessary expensive parts onto all projects.Thanks for everything central computer, I have yet to have a bad experience in all these years.Cheers!

Oron Israeli: Came to Keane with a 2015 Mac Pro with a failed drive, rare malfunction with very little chance of data recovery. The service was excellent, despite the low odds, they persisted in the recovery process and exhausted all options and luckily one of them worked! A long shot turned into a miracle. I know it was part luck, but also a lot of skill and most importantly, determination. Communication was excellent, price was more than fair. Highly recommend this place!

Jasmine Blocker: I've been coming to the Keane for at least the last ten years. These are the folks that The Genius Bar tells you to go to when your ish is out of warranty. I recently cracked the screen of my MacBook air. Took it into Keane on a Friday and had it back on a Monday. Something wasn't right and they fixed it for free. If you can't afford a new Mac, go to these guys. Also for Data Recovery. Keane will hook you up.

I was extremely pleased with the service, I stopped at the Genius Bar before going to The Total Max and was told it would be a $500 charge with a two week waiting period which I found ridiculous. Very thankful for Andrew and I will definitely be coming back if I have any issues in the future!

Aaron Mischler: .Elite 2 controllers don’t exactly grow on trees, so I can’t imagine that they’ve seen many before - if any! - and thus I wasn’t exactly full of hope on the repair but it’s been a week or so now and it’s still working beautifully; if I understood correctly the controller’s motherboard overheated and melted, which I didn’t expect at all, as the controller had never really felt hot to the touch during use. 🤷♂️So, yeah, if you’ve got something pricey enough to warrant an attempted repair, give these folks a shot!
