Iman Bashir: Everything you could ask for in a gym! Love Billy and Erica. I was going every day while I was in SF. They have everything from yoga to chiro after training sessions. They cater to you and your timing and offer so much flexibility. Not to mention the latest equipment and floors of different spaces.

Garley Leon: I have been coming to this gym for approximately 6 weeks for their Transformation Challenge and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. They have a small group of fitness instructors that have a true passion for coaching and they have done an immense job in correcting my form so that my workouts are optimal. The nutritional aspect of this challenge has been exceptional and has played an immense role in my health and wellness journey. Prior to coming I did not know what macros were and how the balance was so essential. This is what I have enjoyed most about this gym - being able to talk to someone for nutrition coaching and having people you can be accountable to. They truly walk you through all the steps. I will be continuing with this gym for the foreseeable future.

Casey Madden: Loved working with Tribe! I was looking for something that combined a nutritionist with personal training and this fit the bill. I did semi-private training 3x a week for 3 months, working out with 3 other people each time which I preferred to my own trainer. All of the trainers have their own styles and energy, so I learned new tips each week. I had amazing results, even with a back problem that severely hindered my mobility, and learned how to modify the exercises to be comfortable and effective. I only ended my time since I moved out of SF, and I miss the wonderful crew!

It’s a safe and accepting environment regardless of what phase you are at in your fitness journey, and people genuinely want the best for each other. On days when the class is larger, you’ll work with a partner for barbell movements, and on Saturdays there is team conditioning, both of which are great ways to get to know people. I have ended up making close friends at the gym and know others have too. Working out with the group and chatting with people is always one of the best parts of my day.

The Transbay and Embarcadero locations are by far my favorites to go to and get a good workout. I’ve been training with Emma Salaam, who helped me lose 30 pounds last year. She is an amazing trainer who listened to any concerns I had and helped me with back pain. Emma helped me so much with my fitness goals by giving me dietary suggestions and coming up with workout plans I could do when not seeing her. Emma is truly an amazing trainer, and I love working with her.

Tushar Sethi: Overall the best gym at this price point in downtown SF. Facility is clean and well maintained. Equipment and machines are in good shape as well. The training staff is very knowledgeable and not pushy. I have a back injury and worked with Rehan A. who has a background in rehab and physical therapy. Super knowledgable.

Daniel M.: High quality workouts with a small class size makes for an overall great experience. The trainers here have many years of experience in the field and they bring their expertise to every session while also making it fun. I really like the cardio/conditioning classes conveniently right after work at 6. The strength classes are great and after coming here for just a few months I can definitely see big results.

Teri delane: This is the first time in my life that I have had a personal trainer, I love this place because it makes you feel comfortable no matter what shape you’ve been in. I mean I walk most days but lifting weights working out… I have never done. Brandon Lienhop Is my trainer and I have never felt better in my life! He is a great conscientious warm trainer. She was awesome as she took her time to listen to my needs and really got in there to get out those kinks! The massage room is tucked away in the gym and after my experience I was impressed with how tranquil the environment was for being in a gym. Thanks again Mistie and Body Mechanix!!

Caroline Gador: I first found Body Mechanix through Classpass and became a regular at Jessie Li's Monday Kettlebell class soon after. I absolutely love Jessie's Kettlebell class as it's a sure-thing workout that always left me sore for days. I have since started Personal Training sessions with Jessie and she has been fantastic at helping me with my strength. She was able to pinpoint my lack in range of motion that has been holding up my fitness progress. Working with her has been awesome. She's cheerful, energetic, and always knows how to push me. Highly recommend.

With a soon to be arriving baby it was time I dealt with my recurring lower back pain. Thankfully I met Jonathan Ly!! We have been working together for the last 3 years and I have seen massive improvement. With focus on core strength and general strength training my back is great and I am the most fit I have been in my life. Jon is a complete professional and great to work with - he asks the right questions, monitors progress and pushes me to work hard. He manages all of this and we have fun doing it. You can train 1:1 with a personal trainer or be part of a group. The trainers here are friendly and very supportive of everyone. Their goal is to work with everyone as to where they are at present, and where and what they want to achieve down the road to fitness.I discovered Body Mechanix by way of my trainer Jon Ly. I have been working with Jon close to 8 years now and it has given me the results that I've always wanted, but wasn't sure on how to achieve it.Personal training, in my opinion, is the way to go to get that body that you've always wanted and Body Mechanix is where you want to be to achieve that goal!

His entire staff at Body Mechanix are talented, passionate and make you feel like you are part of the family. I felt as if i was rushed in and rushed out as quickly as possible.The main and best difference is that Dr. Yasi, you can tell, CARES. Cares about you the patient and her own work. I could tell throughout the visit and adjustment, that she went over and beyond what most Dr's would.I have now been going to see her for several months and each week I feel that much better. Highly recommend Dr. Yasi to anyone seeking chiropractic work.ALSO. Since I started there I have begun to work with a personal trainer, Megan. Who by all means, kicks your ass. The two services go hand in hand. The personal training topped off by the chiropractic work equals amazing!

Serafim-Nikolaos Dimitropoulos: I did personal training with Yotam Israeli for almost a year. I can't recommend LuxFit and its trainers enough. Through visible and measurable results I feel more confident about my body and am very happy with the progress that I made through my session in Yotam in terms of strength and endurance. Besides, focusing on proper form and the right exercises for my goals Yotam was always open to my questions about nutrition and establishing habits through set workout schedules to do by myself.I'm looking forward to return to LuxFit and my sessions once my work+travel schedule opens up again. Until then, I can continue to make progress on my goals by myself with the fundamentals and the baseline that I learned from the LuxFit folks.
