I recently put new wood floors into our bedrooms. Dave and the rest of the staff were very helpful and courteous. The installers were top-notch and did fabulous work on our floors, they worked efficiently and also seemed to be perfectionists. The work was done on time and all at once. They didn't have to come back to fix anything later. It has been a few weeks since they completed the work, and we are so happy with them and have not had any problems. I am very thankful for their work and recommend this store.


I was referred from a landlord who has used California Flooring and design in the past. I walked into clean and well organized showroom. I was greeted by Reza who was so eager to help and make sure that everything was cared for not leaving any detail out. He introduced me to Joe who helped me chose the carpet, order the carpet and set up installation. I needed the carpet for a rental in a few days and Joe helped make that happen. I went in to the store on Thursday and had all ordered and installed by Tuesday. I was informed every step of the way with no guessing. Communication was excellent. ONLY DOWNSIDE: Planks came in four different patterns(the look to them), We separated them by the four patterns to prevent a repeat of the same look. At the end of the layout pattern number "4" had about 15% more than the others. This made it difficult for the layout pattern that we wanted. Ordered three additional boxes, and they all came in slightly different. WOULD I BUY AGAIN? YES!

We very rarely write reviews, but we had such a super positive experience with California Flooring and Design, and in particular with our Flooring Designer, Brittney, that we decided to post this. We think we got a good product at a great price, and the customer focused experience we received from Brittney was just exceptional.

We are new to the area and visited several other flooring showrooms, and we do not have anything bad to say about any of them. But, from the moment we entered the California Flooring and Design showroom and met Brittney, we were impressed. We were looking for luxury vinyl plank flooring, but were not sure of exactly what it was we wanted. Brittney asked insightful questions, made helpful suggestions, and just worked hard to help guide us to our purchase decision. She obviously knows a great deal about the flooring products, and used that knowledge to make sure that we were satisfied.

She knew from the beginning that we planned to install the floor ourselves, so that our transaction would just be for the product and not include installation. Even so, she made us feel like very valued customers. At no time did we feel any pressure from her toward a particular product or to close a sale quickly. In fact, it took us several weeks to make up our minds, and Brittney was patient and always friendly and welcoming throughout the process.
