4worldlovers: Founded in 1981, the College of English Language offers high-quality English language courses, as well as exam preparation courses to international students. We have 3 schools throughout California, located in San Diego, Pacific Beach and Santa Monica.

Our experienced teachers and small classes (max. 12 students per class) provide students with a personal and enriching academic environment. CEL offers 6 levels of general English language courses, as well as TOEFL and Cambridge exam preparation courses throughout the year.

Each class has an average of 6 - 7 students and a maximum of 12 students per class. All courses are accredited by the Commission on English Language Accreditation (CEA).

I have been at CEL for 1 year. I highly recommend this school and experience to everyone. It doesn’t matter how old you are or if it is for a short or a long amount of time, each class is well structured based on different levels in order to make possible for each student to achieve or improve their English knowledge. The staff is always helpful and enables you to feel like home which is essential in a foreign country especially if you travel alone. Teachers are strongly qualified in doing their job.
