Since 1980 more than 6,000 students have taken music lessons (piano, guitar, voice, drum, violin, brass, and woodwinds) at our facility, more than at any other studio in Chula Vista. We started as a very small school but have grown to become the largest music school in Chula Vista by offering the widest variety of music lessons and voice lessons.

Competition and Awards are a fun way to encourage learning and practice. This is an excellent way to keep practice enjoyable and keep parents, teacher, and students smiling. Each month, teachers nominate a student who has displayed excellent progress and effort in their music training. From May to August, students are encouraged to participate in our Summer Olympics practice competition.

7. Free music recitals at the A Dawn Of Music Studios showcase!

Our music school offers free recitals with a grand Steinway piano in a first class professional recital hall.

Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital.

Many of our students choose to perform in our biannual recitals. We hold these at our San Diego Studio location in the Recital Hall, as it has a grand Steinway piano and world class acoustics.

For our students these recitals are free and unlike many schools in San Diego, we do not charge recital participation or admission fees.

You are encouraged to bring your family and friends to the show for free to share in the fun!

We offer full time professional customer service for our students Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM. Our music office staff is available Monday to Thursday 11 AM to 7 PM.

Due to its central location, our school is convenient to all areas of San Diego. Close to our school, you will find the convenience of the trolley, and the beautiful Bay Park with a playground and hiking trail. Our location is convenient, and we have many students from La Jolla, University, Mission Valley, La Mesa, and Chula Vista.

We offer student discount cards for our students which saves them money all throughout the year.

Every year, we host a free picture day with a professional photographer. This is a service that our student's parents love as they all want quality photos of their children. Adults are welcome too! Students can bring their instruments to the photo shoot and wear whatever they like.

Hello everbody! We’re Ms. Diana and Melissa and we want to help you create a wonderful musical foundation for your child. As parents, we understand how important it is to feel close to your child. That is why we teach music and movement classes in a fun, nurturing, and non-judgemental environment. We’ve been helping parents and children find new ways to connect since 2008.

All you need to do is come and play! Even if you don’t think you are very musical, we’re here to support you every step of the way. You won’t believe how much fun and learning is happening!

Your child is a natural born music maker! Our play based, highly engaging programs build on your little ones natural enthusiasm for music and movement. Your famliy will have a blast every week as you sing, dance, play, and creative life-long memories together.

That’s right: It’s never too early to start our music classes! The one-semester Music Together Babies Class was created especially for families with infants under nine months old. If you have a pre-crawler, this is a great class for your start on your musical journey. Connect with your baby while learning how to use music as a parenting tool while meeting other parents/caregivers.

In our Music Together Mixed-Age Classes, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them, gather for 45 minutes of fun-filled family music time. Your teacher will lead you and the other families in music activities ranging from lap songs to lullabies to full-on jam sessions (with child-friendly instruments, of course). It’s so much fun you won’t realize how much learning is taking place!

Canta y Baila Conmigo is a uniquely designed program that provides a culturally rich experience, where children acquire Spanish language skills through music and movement in a fun-filled environment. Weekly classes are taught by a native Spanish speaker ready to support and guide you and your little ones through a joyful immersive Spanish language and music experience.
