This hospital has been very kind and caring to me…. The ER nurses and doctors were amazing and attentive to my needs. I unfortunately had to come back earlier Monday because of some of my major health conditions. The doctor and I had a hard time with communication, at first, but both saw where we got slipped up and everything went so well. My nurse Steve is awesome. He’s very straight to the point, stern and does his job phenomenally. I personally prefer the straightforwardness when it comes to my health care. I wasn’t judged as other hospitals absolutely do and I felt safe. Thank you for helping me and not jumping to conclusions about me based on my medications. You guys took the time to find out why and showed me compassion. Alvarado is my go-to. If you’re kind to them, they’ll be kind to you.

I would like to take the time to thank the wonderful doctor, nurses and ER techs who took such excellent care of me. I came to the hospital not feeling well and scared. The charge nurse immediately escorted me to a bed, and I was shown so much kindness and reassurance. Dr Kilian, nurse Lexi, and ER tech Anaissa took great care of me. I was treated with such great service! Laura the secretary came and made sure I had my call light, and even the admitting rep Jessie B. went over all my billing information. I felt comfortable and well cared for. I was discharged and felt so much better. Thank you so much Alvarado hospital ER staff. Thanks for all the hard work you all do!

My experience with the emergency room visit was exceptional. At every point of interaction, the team members were kind and professional even down to the security guard who offered a new patient a more comfortable wheelchair to sit in upon arrival. From intake to discharge was only about three hours and I was told that it was a busy day with patients. If another emergency visit was ever needed, this would be my first choice hands down.

Thank you to all the surgical team and the nurses that care for me before, during and after spine surgery. I appreciate your kindness and skills. Without you all I would not be here today I’m on the road to recovery and better health so that I can help others.

From Interstate 5: Exit on Washington Street and head east. Turn left on First Avenue. Turn left onto West Arbor Drive. The medical center will be on your right.

From CA-163 northbound: Exit at Robinson Avenue and make an immediate left onto Tenth Avenue. Make a left onto University Avenue. Turn right onto First Avenue. Turn left onto West Arbor Drive. The medical center will be on your right.

From CA-163 southbound: Take the Washington Street West exit toward Downtown. Merge onto Washington Street. Turn right onto First Avenue. Turn left onto West Arbor Drive. The medical center will be on your right.
