Full Potential Martial Arts Academy is the premier martial arts school in San Diego for adults and teenagers. Our training curriculum consists of Okinawan Shito-Ryu Karate; of Chinese Yang-Style Tai-Chi Chuan (Taiji); of the ground fighting and grappling arts of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Chinese Chin-na (Qinna), and Japanese Aiki-jitsu, Jiu-Jitsu and Judo; of practical Krav-Maga and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA); and of wooden and bladed weapons such as eskrima sticks, knives, and sword. One of the main focus areas for our classes is learning practical self defense skills through reality-based training. On the soft (yang) side, we teach the healing arts of Qigong (chi kung) and Yoga, to benefit your mind and body.

The martial arts Full Potential Martial Arts Academy teaches encompasses internal martial arts as well as external martial arts – neigong and waigong, as featured in martial arts such as Okinawan Karate, Wing Chun, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, BJJ and Aikido. Cali Combat was just what I was looking for! I have studied martial arts for years but I wanted to supplement my experience with some combative/tactical skills and Jeremiah does just that. His program is a comprehensive, practical system that includes training in grappling, striking, and weapons. I am glad I found Cali Combat and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning how to defend themselves in real-world situations.


Jeramiah is a personal and great instructor. From all the lessons we have done we went fluidly from one martial art to the next and worked the fundamentals and the basics that are required As a martial artists myself for over ten years in various styles Jeremiah brings a lot to the table as an instructor and as a mentor. His martial art based knowledge is practical and useful. Coming from real world experience I highly recommend training with him.
