I am an award-winning and internationally featured fine art photographer, known for my beautiful posing techniques, use of shadows, color harmony, and soft and dreamy editing style.

Although I am primarily self-taught, I’ve mentored with the best newborn photographers from around the world to make sure I offer the best experience for my little clients. I have been a professional photographer for over 20 years, photographing families, engagements, weddings, and portraits for San Diego families. I was primarily a wedding photographer for many years until my brides started having babies. For the last 12 years, I have exclusively specialized in maternity and newborn photography and photographed over 1000 newborns. I love planning newborn sessions! It's so much fun to come up with creative ideas and plan out the perfect session for each San Diego family. The first thing I ask my clients when we are planning a newborn session is, "What color is the nursery?" I have so many backdrops in my studio I can match almost anything you have in your home! I provide all the newborn props and outfits and can create custom setups just for your session. You don't have to bring anything, just your baby!

Eventually, I realized anyone can pick up a camera but not many can create a fun, welcoming, and easygoing experience in combination with photo skills. My background in fine art helps me with the creative process while my love for people brings the joy in spending that moment together. One of my biggest assets is being able to guide people during the session. Being a bossy older sister really paid off (shout out to my brother!) for my skillset in giving good, clear directions. I feel lucky that I get to have lots of laughs, smiles, and fun working with my clients.
