Our Beach, Swim Adventure and Sunset Rides take you through the Preserve to the only beach in San Diego where you can ride a horse! Our Riverbed Ride is a placid escape into a little known part of San Diego filled with fragrant, lush greenery and occasional wildlife viewings. We rent horses, wagons, ponies, our pony carousel and even exotic animals like Moses, our camel. We specialize in LARGE events. Our Clydesdales have no problem pulling wagons with up to 18 passengers and we have custom wagons for many occasions including a stage coach, hay ride, flatbed, bob sleigh and more. We have wagons that can handle bumpy terrain or take the heat of long parade routes. Don't need a horse? Many of our wagons are tractor drawn. We offer several excellent programs including a fantastic Riding Academy with lesson for riders of all ages and levels, we offer a comprehensive Horse Training program that focuses on the relationship and attaining goals for both horse and rider, we also offer Equine Assisted Psychotherapy with Dr. Amy Oleson.


Our approach to learning to ride and work with horses is structured and based in classical horsemanship. Riders work to develop their own skills (including balance, confidence, an independent seat, etc) as well as learn the theories and concepts that will guide them in having successful and mutually rewarding relationships with the horses.

Unfortunately, there has been an outbreak of vesicular stomatitis (VSV) in an equine facility located in San Diego County, California. Our trusted veterinarian has confirmed multiple cases of infection in horses in the East County area. While no horses at Windsor Equestrian Center are currently infected, we are taking proactive measures to ensure the well-being and safety of every horse on our ranch. Therefore, we have implemented a full lockdown.
