The hotel provided me a room facing to the street, and I requested to the room facing to the pool side. It was the same price but slightly larger with a chair and ottoman, and the AC unit was new with thermostat. The breakfast place was like a regular coffee shop and only two staff members working in the busy morning. Obviously, it was short staffed and people made a long line. For business, it is an okay hotel just only to stay and sleep, but can't expect something more to make you comfortable. Ask the hotel to put you the pool side when you book. The street side rooms -- lower levels -- have the lower standard of the quality and smaller space.

The room was smaller than expected and cramped. Bathroom sink leaked all over the counter with each use. Beds were comfortable and staff was nice.

Take time to find a better hotel! Remodel indeed, new bed and carpet do not make a hotel that charges outrageous price! Old AC & refrigerator that did work very well! Overpriced water and drinks at the bar and $15 for parking...come on! No complimentary breakfast or coffee! Plus side is starbucks across street by the vons.

Don’t stay here. It’s dirty, gross, not at all the quality Marriott is known for. It honestly felt like a motel quality in our room but we paid for a premium stay. Our room looked like it wasn’t cleaned after the previous tenants. The bathroom door was wobbly and almost fell off. The lock didn’t work, the bathtub was brown and so gross. Our lamps didn’t work and they charged for parking. I was shocked they charged for parking with it being overall motel quality. Plus not offering breakfast with the amount they charged us. Stay anywhere else. You won’t regret it.
