When my father-in-law passed away I was pleased to see he had a funeral plan with Dignity Memorial (Mountain View Mortuary & Cemetery) . The plan covered so many issues that I thought I would have to figure out on my own. Such as the transportation from the hospital, casket selection, Chapel service ,obituary, death certificates , military honors... The process made what could have been a very stressful time a lot more manageable.


Kimerey and Mado were exceptional on every aspect. They are the only members of the team that provided the professionalism and courtesy during our time of need. They went above and beyond. Yvonne Mercado, the family service counselor, seemed to lack knowledge and was very unprofessional. We were told we were going to be provided a new family counselor in her place and when the time came it was obvious there was no communication between the two counselors nor between the new counselors and our family which caused confusion during the ceremony and burial. Not to mention, they barely made it to the church before the service started to set my grandmother up in the front of the church. Also, upon the end of the church service they walked up and just walked off with the ashes of my grandmother so abruptly it took everyone by surprise. And for the remainder of the time we had to stop to notify and request things as they happened with the new counselors (such as the balloon release, the handing off of urn, the music we wanted to continue to play) which they were cordial and helpful but unaware of our plan. I couldn't even tell you their names or who they were, we didn't meet them ahead of time. If it wasn't for Kimerey it would have been chaos. Kimerey was a blessing throughout this process and she is who got us through. Thank you, Kimerey!


Overall, entire staff was very accommodating, adapting to our family's individual needs as we all prepared for our father's cremation. We were very pleased with how gracious and personable everyone was, while being very professional. We would definitely recommend Mt. View Mortuary to friends and family that need help planning a cremation of their loved one.
