Launch from our private dock at Veterans Park by The Village
This location the kayaks and paddleboards are on wheels. Customers walk them
100 yards into the park and down a hill to the waters edge. This is a do it yourself launch!
Here at GetBoards in Big Bear we make YOUR vacation OUR priority! To provide you with the best Big Bear bike, kayak, and paddle board rental experience possible. We specialize in a large selection of top quality equipment, clean, regularly maintained and inspected by our knowledgeable certified staff.
Our No-nonsense rental fees include everything you need- from helmets for bike rentals to life jackets and paddle on our permitted kayaks and SUPs- at no added cost! We set ourselves apart from other rental companies by promising NO tax or deposits, and NO additional cleaning fees! If you would like to launch from our private dock, there is $3.00 dock launching fee per kayak/paddleboard. At Veteran's Park private dock, the equipment is already on the water and our dock staff will assist launching your rentals. At Boulder Bay, it is a self launching location where you will be provided carts for all equipment and you launch yourself from the shore.
Whether you're a first-timer learning the basics of paddling or a kayak enthusiast looking to find the best spots on the lake, our experienced staff with provide you with expert advice. AND we include a free map with all of our rentals!
Want to bring along your furry friend? All our kayaks and SUPs are pet friendly! Your pup can ride with you anywhere on the lake at no extra cost! For peace of mind, we do offer dog life jackets for rental for only $8!
Delivery is available right to your home or rental cabin, available anywhere in Big Bear Lake! Or Launch from our Dock or Beach Locations
For a flat delivery rate of $20, we'll bring your daily rentals straight to you, and pick them up when you're finished! If booking your delivery for more than 1 day, the rental delivery is FREE!
