Yadira Vergara: We had an amazing wedding! Everyone on the team went above and beyond to make our day so beautiful and special. Taylor and Scout were super helpful throughout the whole process and day of the wedding. We used the venues florist, caterers, and DJ and we are so happy that we did.
shelley Kellogg: It's a darling little victorian hotel. The ceremony was in a little courtyard, cocktails and hors d'oeuvre in the bar and dinner in a ballroom. All excellent. My only minor complaint? During dinner, the recorded music was very loud, prohibiting conversation.

Karene Bortey: The five stars goes to the Manager Linda Cote who took the time to talk to me and address my concerns. She was honorable to ask what can I do to make the situation better. That alone told me what great manager she was and though the outcome wasn’t what I was expecting I left the phone knowing that at least someone heard me out apologized and rectified and undid the feeling I had earlier on. God Bless you Linda and it’s my prayer that somehow your Boss sees what great manager you are and promote or give you a raise. I got off the phone with elephant sitting on my chest with now I can sleep well knowing my daughters 16th birthday is okay.Thank You ☺️

Aurelio Verduzco: I have a wedding reception on this place a week ago. It is a pleasure to have our party there. Everything looks amazing the tables and light's is exactly what we expect to have. Bobby was so kind. I don't have anything bad about it. The entire crew do excellent and great work. The food was good and everyone is friendly. Our guesses say everything is nice and at the end of the party everyone is happy. I will recommend this place based on my experience. If I need a place in the future 100% come back to here. Again thank you so much for your assistance boby. My family is so grateful to you. This place was where we had our 25th wedding anniversary party and we are more than satisfied with all the staff there. The owner was kind to us and our guests throughout the party. We really liked the food and so did our guests. Our guests were happy with everything and really liked how they decorated the entire room. Thank you very much uptown ballroom. 100 percent recommended.

Molly Reyes: I had my wedding here and it was amazing. Bobby was my host And he is so incredibly easy to work with, very accommodating, and is really fun to be around. The place was set up exactly how I wanted it and he adjusted everything that I didn’t like and fixed it right away. I definitely will be recommending this venue and also will be coming back if I ever have future parties. Thank you so much Bobby !!!

Lucas A: Let’s go with the cons first:Rooms are small. Floors are uneven. Doorways are small. Overhead clearances are low. Water pressure can leave some things to be desired. Parking is not included. You can hear noise from seals and people.Next- this is a nearly 100 year old river boat that cruised this very river that it is moored on. It was salvaged and saved and retrofitted into the hotel that it is now. You’ll be hard pressed to find anything like it. If you’re needing a more traditional hotel experience, do not say on a retrofitted paddle wheel river boat. Trying to compare this hotel to others makes no sense. Judge it for what it is. The bed was comfortable and all staff I interacted with were very nice.Didn’t eat at the restaurant but the bar had a super cool atmosphere and the drinks and service were good.Would I stay here for a month? No. Was it perfect for a night in Sacramento where I was looking for a memorable experience? Absolutely.

I guess that's OK on a hot day, but gets really cold at night.Restaurant serves really good food but service can be slow. I had to track down someone to take my order. But the view and quality of food makes up for it. Price is not too outrageous!
Joseph Evans: I would give it 5 stars all around but I have to note the bar experience wasn't pleasant and second when I picked my car up from Valet parking today before I left my car was Ramsacked gone thru hood Unlatched gas lid was opened all my Belongings were on the floor. I did make a report. So if the owner could work on those two it would be a 5 star place. Other then that it was amazing. The desk staff was amazing,room were amazing, clean and we had amazing view of the delta. I most definitely will be back I just won't use the Valet parking.Rooms: Clean,cozy and pretty well up keep. I give the room a 5 star all around.Nearby activities: Lots of place to explore like the Museum and all the little shops around and they have train rides. You won't get bored that's for sure.Walkability: Everything was walking distance.Food & drinks: Lot's of amazing food around the hotel

It is a good 4 or 5 blocks from the convention center and state capitol, but what it lacks in convenient proximity, is definitely made up for in its character. The political cartoons and quotes that were used as art were hilarious. There was always fresh lemon water in the lobby.The room I was in was extremely small but had everything I needed for my work trip. I used the work desk every day, as well as the well stocked coffee station.Also, the housekeeping staff could not have been better! They were kind and attentive and made sure to ask if I needed anything any time I left the room.Highly recommend a stay here.Rooms: The room was really small compared to the hotels I usually stay at next to the convention center but it had everything I needed.
