Brianna Neves: Pieces was a favorite of mine when I lived in Sacramento. I hadn’t been there in over 15 years and stopped in tonight. The owner is wonderful and down to earth, and the food is even better than it used to be. I’m so glad they’re still going after all these years. The old school Sac staples are harder and harder to find.I had the pesto pizza and a twist with chipotle ranch. All of it was delicious!

Edward Streiff: I found the pizza to be very good and the service very fast. It's subway style in that you build out what you want and you watch them create it in front of you but the end result is way better than subway.They do have some premade options you can pick from if you don't want to build your own and there is plenty of seating.The fountain drink machine was broken the day we went but I'm not going to ding them on that as things happen. They still had other drinks you could buy which is what we did.

Lulu: I really like their pizza and it was overall delicious. My family member got a lettuce wrap that was good but had too much sauce. My sibling is allergic to gluten and got a small gluten free pizza that was really good and did not have a reaction. They have a good kids menu with a pretty good size pizza. C. Pierce: During our visit at Pieology, I couldn't help but observe a disconcerting disregard for hygiene and handwashing protocols, a crucial aspect in any food establishment. Now, shifting our focus to the pizzas, the initial excitement surrounding the new dough recipe began to wane. Although the pizzas looked good, the crust, touted as an improvement, unfortunately failed to meet expectations. Its flavor profile was underwhelming, lacking the distinctive taste one would hope for. Moreover, the texture posed a problem – it was disappointingly limp, and as we progressed through the meal, a subtle sogginess emerged, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. This compounded with the observed managerial issues, including the presumed manager's lack of expertise and the general manager's distracting phone usage while handling our food, paints a less than favorable picture of the establishment's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.In addition to the aforementioned concerns, it's worth noting a conspicuous absence of nametags among the staff. The presumed manager, lacking both a nametag and evident expertise, contributed to an atmosphere of uncertainty. This absence of basic identification further added to the overall impression of a lack of attention to detail and professionalism within the establishment.

I’m a student at PM and every single break and lunch, the people working here have been exceptional!Today specifically, Danielle and her team was very quick and efficient. When the order came out the oven, she didn’t try to hide that the crust was just a bit ripped but to me it was completely fine. She showed outstanding service and took care of me for the next time because to her standard of how the pizza should come out, if it’s not a pizza made of perfection and joy, it’s not done right. It was a Thursday night, and the restaurant was about half full with plenty of room for us to sit and wait at the bar. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. In spite of not being crowded, street parking was limited and we had to park around the corner. I was a bit skeptical about the pizza since it was pretty light on the toppings. The sauce seemed almost nonexistent, but the pepperoni and olives gave it plenty of flavor. We had ordered half pepperoni and half margherita with olives on all of it. If you have a big appetite, I'd recommend ordering something in addition to the pizza if you're sharing it with others.Parking: Parking can be a bit of a challenge. We ended up parking around the corner and walking.

Robert Wren: . Service was very nice and everyone was friendly. I had the palaak paneer pasta and woah mama what a savory flavor bomb that was. My friends ordered specialty pizzas which were also p good but like damn that pasta was extraordinary. This ain't fine dining but this WILL scratch an itch you don't know you hadI also ordered a pizza cookie and they didn't have it, so they refunded me and gave me the pizza brownie for free instead. 10/10 would eat here again at like 1am totally blitzed off a jaySometimes, we are blessed with a magical thing that the gods don't want us to have, and in that respect pizza twist is as Promethean as they come. Let's just hope no one forces them to put liver on the menu

Moi Moi: I'm going to start by saying first off I'm not vegetarian, nor vegan, nor pescatarian. I have to state that because every time I've told someone about this place the first thing they ask me is if I'm any of those above categories. It shouldn't matter If I am or not because flat out the food here is amazing. Yes this restaurant provides a great alternative for those who are vegetarian or vegan for sure. But even for those that are not this place has truly has delicious foods that tantalizes the taste buds. This place has also showed me that it is possible to eat healthier and still have tasty food. I've even been inspired to cook at home or so after trying dishes at this place. Whether your vegan or vegetarian or not I highly recommend you give this place a try You may be surprised at how delicious the food truly is. One of my favorite dishes is there crispy brussel sprouts sometimes I ask them for a little bit extra crispy and the pairing with the pickled onions pomegranates and the feta cheese along with the balsamic reduction is truly a delightful flavor that has left a profound impression on my taste buds.Vegetarian options: My favorite items are the crispy brussel sprouts and the gnocchi. But there are several delicious items on this menu and you can't go wrong. The only one I haven't tried is the one involving red beets that's just a personal preference.

We decided to share the Sicilian style pizza, "The Shop" which features Salami, Sliced Meatballs, Pepperoni, Bacon, Linguica, Italian Sausage, Mortadella, Hot Coppa and Prosciutto di Parma . Our meatballs arrived in a timely manner and looked and tasted delicious. We also appreciated the fact that the meatballs featured a lot of sauce which I'm a huge fan of.

Jeanne Bertuccelli: Below was my review from last year.They have turned a 180 and now are my favorite! I lived in Italy and this is truly authentic Neopolitan pizza at it's best! Highly recommend! Other than Naples the only places that came close for me were a couple spots in NYC. BRAVO on turning it around!!! Last review Nov 2022: Never again. Ordered double pepperoni pizza was barely regular amount of pepperoni. Cold on delivery after 45 minute wait. Soggy crust yet also burned. Go elsewhere!!
