Sara: This is THE place to go to find the perfect wedding dress! I came in yesterday on a whim with my mom and best friend after a horrible experience at David's Bridal in Sacramento. I knew from the moment I stepped in that I would have a much better experience here at Onyx. The girls here at Onyx were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure that I found my dress. They listened to what I said I was looking for in a dress and gave genuine opinions on every dress I tried on. They made me feel so special and beautiful!! I've never had so much fun trying on dresses!!! Sure enough, I found MY DRESS and veil while managing to stay under my budget!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the wonderful ladies at Onyx for making my dreams come true!!!

Jessica: Had such a great and fun first time experience here with my cousin. This was her first stop dress shopping so she didn’t know what to expect but this place definitely set the standards pretty high. Raven and Sophia were super friendly and sweet! Once we got there, we checked in and Sophia asked what kind of music we’d like to listen to while my cousin will be trying dresses on. 90s party it is! Let the party begin lol. Ton of different dresses to choose from and try on. I would totally recommend brides to be to stop by here while they’re looking for the one! My cousin said yes to a dress here!

These gals were amazing! They picked out dresses that were really unique to my daughters tastes. Their use of clips and props really gave our group the full vision of how the dresses would look when fitted. We found THE dress and are thrilled with the very personal experience we had.

Emily Blevins: This was the absolute best experience. My sister is getting married. We did the champagne party where the store is closed, and it’s just your party of 8 and the seamstresses. Sophie and Raven were so nice and amazingly professional. They ‘tailored’ each dress as my sister tried them on. They made her feel great in everything. She found the one! Heather Barmby: Second Summer Bride was the first bridal boutique I visited when looking for my dream dress! Sophie was an amazing consultant! She was super friendly, took everything I was looking for into consideration, and found me some gorgeous dresses to try on that we’re all slightly different! She made me feel comfortable in the dressing room and was super conversational and friendly! I ended up leaving to try on other dresses at other stores. After being disappointed at other stores and thinking about one of the dresses I tried on, I called SSB and they got me in the next day to try the dress on again! Sophie, once again, was absolutely amazing! The whole process so far has been amazing and I am so happy that I found my dream dress at SSB! I would recommend this bridal boutique to anyone getting married!

Susie and Ryan: I’d heard about Brides For A Cause and followed them on Instagram and was so excited to check them out. I went on the 24th of the month when they were having their 24% off sale. I actually traveled an hour and a half to get there and I’m so glad I did. They had sooo many beautiful, high quality options in a range of prices. The sales associates were just the nicest and helped me out with everything I needed. The store was clean and light filled, plenty of mirrors and seating for your guests, and big changing rooms. I tried on about seven dresses and ended up buying the third dress I tried on and I’m in LOVE! The sales associates gave me plenty of time to try it on again, look at it in different mirrors, helped me fluff the train for pictures. They had some other non-bridal evening gowns as well and my mom ended up buying her MON dress too while we were there! And bonus points that all the charities they donate to benefit women and girls!

Kailyn Salas: I went here to just start the journey of looking for a dress. Initially, I was just looking to see how the process is and what kind of dress I even wanted - but I ended up taking one home! I fell in love immediately with one of the dresses they had in their selection. Originally, the dress was $3,000, I got it for only $350! The girls are so kind and patient - we went over our appointment time and they didn’t even mind!

Taylor Hallera: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I came all the way from San Jose to a&be to find my dress. Theresa helped me find what I was looking for. She listened to my wants and needs and was very accommodating to me and my party. Theresa knew what dresses to pull and even had me try on some fun accessories like gloves and capes. I tried on 3-4 dresses during this appointment and finally landed on the one. Theresa narrowed down my likes/dislikes in each gown and that's how we ended up with my perfect dress. I really wasn't interested in dress shopping, but going in and seeing dresses on your body is truly worth it and the experience was AMAZING. I ended up choosing a gown by Maddie Lane that was a “maybe” to start and a “hell yes” once I tried it on.A few perks of the boutique in general: once you have a favorite gown, they hand you a bouquet and a veil and have you walk towards a full length mirror a few paces so you can see yourself close up AND from a distance. The space is roomy and chic with fancy couches and huge windows with tons of natural light. I appreciated that you could pay 50% up front and the rest when the gown arrives. The email updates were helpful and not annoying, and the hospitality was on point from start to finish. I have zero complaints.I highly recommend Keilah! Thank you!!

A: Not sure what these negative reviews are all about. This place has a HUGE selection and a ton of different styles. Kelly was an amazing helper and helped me find the perfect dress and encouraged me to try on other different styles. I had a ton of fun AND I found my dress! There’s a big dressing room with a curtain that you can throw back for a dramatic reveal to your squad. There’s a couch for your friends, plenty of space to see the gowns in all of their glory, including in the front of the store where the natural light comes in. I’m so happy with my experience!

Tessa Zehnder: I randomly booked an appointment for just myself on a Tuesday, and was really not looking forward to another experience like the first one I had had so I was really nervous when I got there. Katie was my stylist and I instantly felt better just chatting with her before we even started looking at dresses she didn't make me feel rushed or like we were on any time schedule at all. The store was totally quiet and relaxed it was just her and I and I really felt like I had a private personal experience that was low stress and fun. She was so patient and kind- I felt like I had another friend there with me to cheer me along through this process. I could not have picked the dress with out her; she took my vague description of what I was looking for and picked out the most perfect dress for me. I went back three different times to re-try on my dress as well as other dresses to compare, and I never felt like I was a burden or that I was being too picky.La Soie has a great selection of beautiful gowns- they even carry Hayley Paige, which was a huge plus for me. I called many bridal shops asking if it would be possible to get a black wedding dress for my wedding in 3 months. Most shops said it would be impossible. I called Miosa and they said we might be able to make it work with a sample dress. I found a black sample dress I loved but wanted to make some changes to. I work with Sabrina the seamstress. She was AMAZING!!! She let me know in advanced that I would have to do many dress fittings, do the alterations in stages and it would cost a little bit of money to do. I was ok with that. Now fast forward to the last dress fitting I couldn't be more pleased with how amazing the dress turned out with 3 weeks to spare! Susan Mills: Miosa Bride Sacramento was thorough, efficient, accommodating, friendly and energetic. Before my bridal appointment I did my homework. I found 14 beautiful dresses and Allison helped me order two on loan from Justin Alexander and ensured they would arrive in time. Chelsea was my appointment associate. She was a fireball of energy and enthusiasm. I tried on most dresses in my favorites and Chelsea investigated which were in stock to provide ample time pre wedding for shipment and alterations. I said YES to a dress and Chelsea provided a detailed explanation of all the next steps. The store and ladies that assisted me, exceeded my expectations!! I was in exceptional hands.

I luckily got the upstairs changing/viewing area, which was much more private and calm than downstairs, but the store was not over crowdedor anything. Totally recommended asking for that area. I'm an unconventional bride, wanting a black dress, and although there weren't an overwhelming amount of black choices for me, my stylist Annika was able to pull the most amazing black gown and vail! She understood the assignment fully and made me feel like my choice of black was definitely the right choice! I believe "vampire goth barbie" were the words she used and I died in excitement, for that is exactly what I want to embody in my wedding dress. This isn’t some large corporation that just makes a sale, these ladies genuinely care to make you feel comfortable regardless of size and style to make sure you feel confident. This place was suggested to me by some coworkers so I decided to give it a try. This was my 3rd bridal shop and I was not really satisfied with the wedding dresses I tried on at the other shops. My stylist was Arianna and I immediately felt so welcomed. Arianna was so kind, amazing, and accommodating. I explained to her my style and the first dress I tried on was my dream dress! I had only come with my sister so I asked if they had any availability in the next few days because I was ready to buy it, but also wanted other people like my mom and mother-in- law to come and see the dress. They were fully booked, but Arianna spoke to the manager and they were able to set up an appointment for me before they officially opened. It was so accommodating of them to do that for me and I can’t thank them enough for letting me and my entourage come early so that they were able to witness the special moment of me picking my dress! I am forever grateful to Arianna and the rest of the Bride to Be couture crew for being so helpful, welcoming, and kind.

Aiden Frazier: Large selection clothing, household goods and furniture.Things are organized by color and big signs help you to navigate throughout the store. I have purchased several large frames and art canvases here for under $30. Prices are comparable to Goodwill or Savers, and most items are gently used.Checkout often long wait times unless you arrive early. Carts are helpful to load up everything and the parking lot is very generous.

The volunteers who work at this resale shop are very warm, welcoming and friendly. Their prices are very reasonable with the exception of their artwork which I think, as an artist, is overpriced. I highly recommend this resale shop for anyone looking to find lightly used and new clothing and other items at a very good price.

Yes, some items are over $12, but usually when the brand name is designer— brands I recognize as “boutique”/high-end and could never afford at full price. I got a MichaelKors dress for $10, they have some gorgeous skirt suits for $20 and under, and a small selection of vintage and fancy stuff at $30+.Another perk: they have such a well-organized and thorough range of sizing in everything. At some consignment stores or nice thrift, anything over a size 10 is slim-pickings.On top of all that, the staff was so lovely; didn’t roll their eyes on my 6th visit to the dressing room, hyped me up when I tried on a cute jacket, and seemed genuinely happy that I’d had a successful visit.I’ll be back as soon as I can find an excuse!

However they do it with style and fashion in mind. Organized by size and color -- love this. I hate stores that throw everything together. Fitting rooms if you need them. Frequent sales. Also participates in sponsoring community events and at the moment helping out survivors of domestic violence. Good vibes here.
