Diana Garcia: Best spot in old sac! So much to look at, beautiful array of music and antique objects. Not to mention the customer service, the employees are super kind and attentive 10/10 must go if you're in Sacramento!
Clarisse Bell: Hidden in the crazy tourist hot spot of Old Sacramento is Brooks. A vinyl lover’s heaven with just about everything you could ever look for. Music is always playing and everyone is ready to help! Also a sort of escape from the busy streets above you.

Charles Linck: A hidden gem in Old Sac. They are one of the last places I've seen in the area selling used music, and mostly vinyl to boot. They have so much random stuff here that the time just flies by. Come check them out and spend some money; let's keep this store open!

Renee D: This is my favorite record store in Sacramento. They always have a good variety of options, the store is nice to hang out in, and they have reasonable prices! I won't name names but at some other stores Sac you can't get a single record without dropping thirty bucks, meanwhile at Rocket you could find two or three. The owner posts their new stock on Instagram and will even hold a record for you, if requested.

Daniel Pasahan: After getting back into vinyl I decided to check this place out since it's so close to work. I really like this shop, they're taking Covid-19 seriously and enforce precautions that make me less anxious about flipping through stuff that's been handled by other people. Their inventory is nice and they add stuff to their shelves every day it seems. The prices are really reasonable compared to what I've seen at other places.They also have a "New Arrivals" section that always has something new that wasn't there the day before. For anyone wondering, they have a pretty good selection of CD's and tapes.
The Shop: Excellent variety of genres to choose from. From cassettes, stickers, CD's, LP's and 7" this is the spot in Midtown. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, very clean and mindful of having people wear PPE 👐🏼😎.
