Alexandra Smith Reiner: This bookstore is a favorite in Sacramento, and personally, a second home for me. Staff are really knowledgeable, their passion is books. Each staff member, and of course Peter Keat the owner, has worked at this neighborhood bookstore for at least ten years, and up to twenty. If you have a title and an author they will find it! New and used, books of many genres, come take a look at midtown's wonderful independent bookstore.
Mondo Madness: A special place that as always been in the heart of midtown. A place that you may often drive past not knowing what's special books are inside. I recently had the pleasure of discovering what gems awaited me. Enjoyed going through the search for different types of books. Ended up getting a couple special finds 🤟🏻 definitely recommend checking this place out if your looking to find a good read!

Momma Bear: This is the coolest place to me...books, books and more books. What's not to love? It's a warehouse with shelves and shelves and shelves of used books. You name it, it's probably there. The day I was there, you could purchase a bag of books for $6. Or you could pay a little more for others. I purchased two for $6, but when I got home and priced them on Amazon...I had saved $13 and they were both new! If you love to read this is the place.

Lulu Marie: One of my favorite bookstores in Sacramento! It's tucked away near Mickinely Park but worth checking out. They have a great selection of books and fun events for kids and adults. They also have fun accessories, cards, stickers, and other items that make great gifts. The staff is super friendly, and it's also dog-friendly.

Jacob, the assistant manager, deserves special recognition for his exceptional dedication to ensuring a flawless event. Guests were delighted to browse the vast selection of books during cocktail hour, adding a unique charm to the celebration. Plus, the option to purchase books was a delightful touch. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue - five stars and 100% recommended!

So many wonderful books to explore as well as a children's book with comfortable bean bag like chairs for kids to sit in. The store also has some unique things other than books, such as tote bag, shirts, stuffed animals, amazing games and puzzles, and other little trinkets. It's so nice to find bookstores still popping up. Nothing is more comforting than flipping through the pages of a wonderful book!

Nicholas Johnson: It was my first time visiting this place. My wife and I had come from out of town and stopped here before getting lunch. The people working were a bit busy, but they offered to assist us so that was nice. I found a reasonably priced cookbook. More importantly, my wife found a great selection of books for mixed race children. It was really a great find for her because she is mixed race and didn't have those kind of books growing up. We will be back next time we are in Sacramento!

Alley Pappenberger: This place feels like The Shop Around The Corner from You’ve Got Mail! It’s a magical little place and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I was there on Small Biz Saturday and even with it being crowded the staff were very friendly and efficient. I purchased a beautiful 10 year anniversary edition of Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I would definitely recommend this bookshop to anyone in the area!
