J T: Flip N' Shake was amazing and perfect for my pregnant wife's first time she loved it because it took care of all her cravings and it tasted great. We'll definitely be returning here. This place doesn't get the recognition it should.Parking: Free parking and drive-thru

Georgia Frank: I was craving some bacon cheese fries & my hibby found this place. Let me tell you , the Bacon cheese fries are simply to die for. Served with a side of sour cream. Fresh Hot & perfectly cooked. I swear they cooked fresh bacon to top these today. Big enough to share & reasonably priced. We will come back & try them again . Sorry no photos as I was way too hungry & devoured them.

Rebecca Clark (Becca): The Philly cheese steak is perfect! Great bread and cheesy. The fries are fresh and thick. The hamburgers are big and greasy. The milk shakes are awesome! The cookies and cream milk shake us really good. The only downside is it’s not a great area, so just get it to go, the restaurant n restroom are not clean so it’s a complete hole in the wall but if you want huge old fashion juicy hamburgers, delicious milkshakes, and authentic cheesy messy Philly cheese steaks it’s perfect!

Lora Key: Delightful little ice cream shop! The staff was friendly and attentive, but also patient while my girlfriend and I checked out every ice cream option. I ended up ordering a double scoop with raspberry sorbet and lemon sorbet and it was super tasty! Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: "Toddler scoop" was something they had on their menu, which I thought was neat.

MOUSE SACRA: Okay you haven't had ice cream until you try their ice cream. I did put on about 15 lb after eating here everyday for 2 weeks mind you I did not eat a scoop or two I got the biggest container they sell .it's that good! they're so addicting!

Jazzy: Best Ice cream spot in town! What a wonderful hidden gem. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and customer service we received here. Miriam was an absolute joy. She was the only employee working at the time and handled the the large amount of people in the shop with professionalism and ease. Long island has so much to offer from ice cream, shakes, smoothies, coffee, iced coffee, assorted beverages, baked goods and more. Great place to cool down and bring the kiddos. Highly recommend. Well definitely be back soon. Hats off to Miriam for making our first visit here memorable.

Pastrie Ryan: Went here for a first date. Great Ice Cream.

Sarah: Hands down one of the best places for coffee in Sacramento. Delicious iced lattes. There are so many ice cream flavors. The lady who runs the counter is so sweet and kind.

Yadirah “Nina” Sergio: Busy de dessert Cafe on a week night after dinner. Definitely not a diabetic friendly js...Dietary restrictions: Not diabetes friendly but awesome for the sweet tooth.

Mighty Joe Young: Was driving in the downtown Sac area and ran into this little gem. There are so many desserts to choose from, perfect for after dinner or after a event or just a sit down with friends or family or a date !I would definitely recommend this place to everyone , but there will be a line because of all the delicious delicacies!Kid-friendliness: Good old fashioned feel , the younger kids had a blast !Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for wheelchairs

Author Alfred Guajardo: Have a sweet tooth ? Can't go wrong if you stop off at Rick's Dessert, you name it they have it as far as sweet cakes and pastries go, and there's plenty of room to accommodate a large party or just a couple, and they're serving lunch sandwiches to boot, it's also centrally located in Midtown Sacramento, on 24th and J Street, There's also inside or outside dinning Five ⭐'s hands down !!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for Kids

Jasmine Jimenez: Omg what a little gem. If not being told about this place by my friend I wouldn't have known about it. We walked down from the Tank House. The weather was fabulous. A bit of a breeze on a almost triple digit day. This is like a old 50s dinner. They had drinks, food and desserts. I ordered the creme brulee, an almond cookie and some sort of Carmel cake. Takes me a little closer the Canters in Los Angeles desert selection. Price wasn't bad and there was no line. Which sounds like a rarity apparently there is always a line of the door we got lucky and there was no one in line. If you're nearby it definitely suggest stopping by. For the ambience alone.

Thomas T: I've tried their deli sandwiches twice. Although the quality is good and the price is reasonable, the bread is as too tough for me to chew and my jaw gets tired 1/3 of the way through a sandwich. Update: Rick's responded to my review and recommended I try them again, so I did. I tried a different sandwich that has a different bread. It was also good, but a little easier for my TMJ. I now know to order using the softest bread roll they have.

Micaela El Fattal: Incredible diner, like you would imagine in the oldies movies. Items were a bit expensive for dessert but also extremely rich and filling. I took about 2 bites and was feeling full already. We had 2 slices and shared between three friends and still had leftovers. There was a small line but it went through fast. The staff was very nice and friendly. I really loved the diner atmosphere. I would go back again but maybe not order as much. This is a perfect spot for a first date or a date spot. 💞

Dorena G.: Want to be transported back in time? You absolutely need to stop at Vic's ice cream shop in East Sacramento. There is a small adjacent parking lot and plenty of street parking around. Expect somewhat long lines on warm weekends. You can also grab a seat at the counter or a booth. There is limited seating. They have a small menu of hot food items, but what they're known for are their desserts and ice cream! I got a small sunday of strawberry cheesecake ice cream with hot caramel and fresh pineapple with a cherry and whipped cream. Delicious! Their top Seller is the chocolate mint ice cream which smells heavenly of mint. All their ice cream is made fresh in house. They also have a secret menu. Ask for the suicide drink next time. This is a great nostalgic local shop that's been around since 1947.

Tim S: First visit to this 60's era drive in. I was super impressed by how clean and organized this old school drive in was upon my walk up to the window. Staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable compared to chain fast food. Has the chili cheese dog and found it to be very tasty. Would recommend this place when in West Sacramento. Sierra Kaminsky: Creative Menu 👌🏽

Basant Pokhrel: Awesome ice cream spot in the heart of downtown Sacramento. Love ❤️ it very friendly staff.

Alexander Mardar: I love this place. Sure, it's around $5-$6 per bar, but it's definitely worth it. The taste of that dipped ice cream is amazing. I keep coming here around once a month, and it never disappoints. I definitely recommend getting the strawberry sorbetto with full milk chocolate dip, white chocolate drizzle, and cinammon pretzel topping. Absolutely scrumptious.

Nohemi Ruiz: First time here, won't be the last! Gelato on a stick with options to half dip or whole dip the gelato in white.milk, dark or caramel chocolate. Then you can add toppings like coconut, hazelnut, pistachios, graham crackers, etc. It was awesome delicious. A little pricey but worth the treat.

Nathan's Story-My Mosaic Down Syndrome Journey: Yum

Julio Lamas: This shop is located on the second floor, near the movie theaters. They have a good selection of gelato or sherbets popsicles. You can choose from a variety of dips and toppings. Good for a hot day.

Shane Smith: I love there popsicles, you can customize the toppings and they taste amazing! And the smoothies come with something extra 😊 Oh, they have vegan options too!

Giovanni Ramirez: Ice cream and shakes were really good, the flavor combinations all work well together. Definitely worth checking out

Andrew Jaru: This place is full of good vibes. Really tasty pops, dipped and coated in whatever you want. The actual pops are super good by themselves, too. Wish we had these back in the Bay Area.

A. Alvarez: This is the perfect spot to take the kids for a treat. Such fun flavor varieties that you can make. Great customer service

Ice cream was delicious and the donuts were absolutely fresh and everything you want from a donut. Combine the two and it’s simply amazing. I am a sweets person and this gets the thumbs up from me.

Sarah Jones: Nice clean and cozy spot. Service not there didn't greet , didn't explain things and also notice while there they didn't greet anyone or really help with service. I ordered the orange Popsicle, when I asked how to pronounce it he just translated what it was. I'm assuming one isn't supposed to chew the Popsicle because there were hard seeds in it that could have broke me teeth. If you know what you want and don't need help this is the place for you but don't expect help if it's your first time. At the end one person said " welcome in " the other four did not.

Lilah: Omg. The milkshake was so delicious, they were super fast at making it and the place was super clean

May Xiong: I enjoy coming here when I have the chance to. Great place to stop by for some ice cream or your cravings for some mangonadas or some Mexican snacks. They also do juicing, which is a great idea, too. I got the skincare juiced this time, and I enjoyed it. The seating area is spacious, but the parking spot is quite small.

Lisa C: Always the best ice cream in town!

Andrew Latino: Awesome place

KingShaun Kong: This place is beyond words, I love ice cream and this was the best experience I've had in a long while possibly ever. I walked in for the first time totally by coincidence and ordered bubble gum and birthday cake ice cream in a cup absolutely "DELICIOUS"! Anyone who likes ice cream MUST try this place!

Tamer Elsaadany: In case you don't find parking, you can always swing by this place. They sell Gunter's ice cream.

Marley J: Got a mangonada freeze instead of ice so it’s ice cream. If was BOMB loved it pretty much what you would expect 😋.

Juan J: Soooooooo good.....The mangonada's were delicious. The 50/50 freezes were so good. I was too full to try my crazy apple but I'm definitely gonna eat it at home. The tosti ceviche wasn't the best but not bad.

Madison Miles: Decided to check this place out when the line at Gunther's was a block long. Sad to see there wasn't a line here because the horchata ice cream and pineapple freeze were both delicious! Huge menu, so definitely will be back to try more!

Ayla Dozier: Most boba places' Thai tea has dairy in it but their Thai tea flavored snow is dairy free! If you haven't tried the snow - it's completely different than snow cones. It's light and airy. I got it with bananas and red beans on top, awesome combination 💯

Rachel k: So unique and sooo yummy.. i cant wait to go again!

Shwan Mohammed: OMG YOU HAVE TO COME HERE IT HAS THE BEST SHAVED ICE AND THE DRAGON BREATHE WASOUTSTANDING!!! IF I COULD DATE IT A MILLION OUT OF A MILLION I WOULD

Kimberly Russell: Well, actually our favorite Vampire Penguin Location was in Elk Grove but the location closed. This Beautiful Plate of Vampire Penguin iced desserts is from Elk Grove but, my niece daughter and I went to the South Sacramento location in 2019. We love the fun ingredients to try and choose from. This is a wonderful place to go on a hot Summer day in Sacramento. The cool refreshing desserts hit the spot. It's basically a beautiful work of art made with shaved ice and infused with bold flavors. It's almost time to go back again. I can't say anything but, good things about Vampire Penguin.. Ruby The dog: Awesome bacon cheeseburger!

D M: awesome onion rings and curly fries. the jalapeño burger is actually spicy. bbq sauce is smokey and tangy. they actually cook your burger exactly as you order it at this joint. very satisfying experience overall.Vegetarian options: great vegan burgers

Tom Macgurn: Visiting the area and tried to find a grass fed burger. Sometimes that’s hard to find. I got the BNB Burger with Bison. It was really excellent. I mentioned how I’d be eating in the car on a long drive and asked for napkins, and they gave me a lot. Probably too much, but I am so grateful that they listened and served me with care. That’s why I’m doing the extra step of writing, I will definitely return!

Sarah P: Love Dazs, need to open more locations tbh. ice cream stayed solid after 3/4 mile walk and was delicious as always. But I never knew this place was here. If you search "ice cream", this place does not show up in gmaps 🤔

Ashika P: My son and I just stopped in for some ice cream after lunch. The young lady who helped me was really nice. She asked if I wanted to sample any of the ice creams before buying? I told her yes, thank you for asking since this was my first time there. I got 1 scoop of Dolce de leche, and my son got the same. It's kinda pricey because it was 14 dollars and some change for 2 scoops of ice cream, but it was good. I would definitely go back because the customer service was great.

Sweet Charlie's: what do users think?

Ashi Vinod: Sweet Charlie’s was started by two brother’s Kyle and Jacob from Philadelphia. Ice-cream created at Sweet Charlie’s is made to order on super cold surfaces that is below zero degrees. The surface is so cold, very small ice crystals are formed. These ice crystals create the ice-cream. Based on the story posted on their wall, this process eliminates the need to add preservatives and other junk. That’s healthy and I would totally eat since I’m healthy conscious. My kids enjoyed watching through the glass windows how the ice-cream was made. It was a fun and cool educational experience for little ones. I would totally recommend parents to bring their kids.

Justice Jones: The ice cream was really delicious! My husband was impressed and he doesn't even really like ice cream. The woman working was super nice and made it clear she would go out of her way to make sure we liked the ice cream & service. Store was very clean. I used the rest room and it was also super clean with all new, clean fixtures. It seems kinda expensive, but I think worth it. Places like the self serve yogurt around the corner might seem cheaper, but once you put too much yogurt in your cup and pill on the toppings, I think it ends up about the same price, but this was better quality.

Kelsey Phillips: Delicious 😋

Megan McBroom: It was fun to watch the ice cream prep and pick unlimited toppings. The ice cream itself wasn't the best quality.

Naween Lal: Always nice to watch the process. Nice and clean

terence taylor: Delicious!!! And great service!!

Nick Ramos: Now and then the sweet tooth calls

Jessica Q: So yummy
