When I first started training with Jesse , I could barely do a single push-up . I didn't even know what to do to take care of my body post work out . Jesse has not only helped me build strength around my knee as well maintain it , but he's also helped me build overall strength and balance , perfect my form when doing workouts , as well as show me different ways to relax and take care of my body for recovery time . He's also been super supportive in helping me get back on track to playing basketball competitively again so a lot of the things we've been working on are getting me one step closer to it .

Best of all the place is spotless and kept very clean!I started working with Jesse last year. Previously I had done P90X and weight lifting type workouts. I am an avid skier that needed to increase my core and leg strength and reduce pain in my ankles and lower back. All those areas of weakness have improved tremendously in a short period of time by getting personal training from Jesse.Jesse is not only knowledgeable with the workouts but also using the foam roller and other stretching techniques. His workout routines are unique and different than the traditional weight lifting that most people do in the gym. They incorporate balance, core strength and upper/lower body coordination which is much more effective in my opinion.I have worked with many different types of trainers over many years based on my athletic background. I would highly recommend Jesse to anyone looking to reach certain goals and get fit.

Ray Ballestero: As a health care professional, I have personally referred several people to Pam as I had heard nothing but raving reviews of how much she had helped. Then, I had a bad accident, severely tearing my shoulder and after surgery and conventional physical therapy, my progress came to a standstill. I decided to see if Pam could help my progress and I began to see improvements with every visit. Every visit was unique as she evaluates movement, strength and range of motion before thinking and creating a plan of action. Pam not only teaches, she encouraged videos with my phone as she demonstrated all the exercises we did each visit for reference. After several visits I had a full recovery, something my surgeon said would be unlikely with the extent of damage I had experienced. Pam is not a "one trick pony", she has an arsenal of knowledge and experience to tailor a very personal program.

Richard Peck: 2/3/2020My wife and I have been working with Pam for at least two years now. She goes far beyond any expectations you might have of a personal trainer. We've never met anyone in this field with such a complete background in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, even body and myofascial work. If you're used to gym trainers, this is not that - it's many levels above. Pam's studio is a well-equipped, comfortable, and private space - usually just you and your trainer. Pam has invested hundreds, if not thousands of hours in her education in this field, and you'll come away from each session knowing more and feeling stronger. She works with people of all ages, shapes, and abilities, from athletes in their prime to middle-aged and very elderly folks keeping up their health and strength. Pam's approach relies on her knowledge and a structured program, but also on her inherent kindness, understanding, and encouragement. That said, it's still a workout - and for me, the results have been great. Be good to yourself and start working out here too.

Margie Shunk: Lanell at Markee Personal Training is the perfect trainer for us. We were referred by a very satisfied friend. Lanell knows the needs of mature clients and how to meet them. She puts the "personal" in personal trainer. Lanell listens to how you are feeling, what your goals are, and tailors the sessions accordingly. She is so motivating that you can't help but succeed. We like the feel of a small private studio for training over being in the midst of activity at a large gym. We are so pleased that the three people we referred signed up. One was our mother who worked with Lanell into her 90's. Mom raved about Lanell and how great she felt with improved balance and strength which led to no falls! C W: Highly Recommended! Pam has been training my wife and I for over 11 years, and she's been a terrific help to us both. She's an excellent trainer, but far more than that. She's also helped us with nutrition and injury recovery, with her deep knowledge in all areas of health. Pam created a different customized workout for each of us, and encouraged us every step of the way with a careful approach. Her Gray Institute certification also comes in very handy. It's like having a trainer, physical therapist, and nutrition coach all rolled into one package. She really cares about her clients and gives 100%. Nancy Ennis: Pam Markee is a wonderful person and an amazing trainer. A few years back she fixed my very painful frozen shoulder. This was after going to physical therapy through my medical plan. Rhett Sullivan: This is hands down my favorite gym I've ever joined. I love the layout and structure of the workouts. All of the trainers have been amazing and attentive in making sure my form is good. The whole gym is nothing but hard work and good vibes. If you are like me, the gym pays for itself because you won't be buying as much fast food and beer because those things don't mingle well with this kind of HIIT fitness.

Meghan Guptill: I can't recommend HIIT X highly enough! Another member once described it as "personal training in a community setting" and that's exactly right. You get all the benefits of a group setting - the sense of community, the encouragement - with coaches that get to know and work with you as an individual. I love the focus on mental and physical wellness and the clear belief that fitness is for everyone!

I was looking to get back in to the gym full time after COVID, and I wanted something more than just a large box style gym. I went to try a class and was immediately hooked. Here there is a very diverse clientele of all shapes and sizes working out beside you sweating just as much as you and it’s way too much fun. I never thought I’d be into lifting, but Justin, and the gym he's created with the amazing team, are so welcoming and supportive. I have told many ppl how amazed and supported I’ve felt at this gym, with there never being any microscopic hint of women being less important because we generally aren’t as strong. So thank you very much Justin for the welcoming space you have created and for your unwavering “yes”-ness today.

D Napolillo: I have been going to this gym for two years. I had never done CF before, so needless to say I was intimidated at the thought of trying to do it. I had been working out on my own for years but I wanted to try something new. I had looked at several CF gyms and tried them out but was unsure if I liked them since I had no reference of what a CF gym was supposed to be like. However, when I walked into Aquila I was treated professionally and all of my concerns were addressed about trying something new and being unsure of my ability. I also liked the gym space and the people welcomed me right away. It felt comfortable and I did not feel like I shouldn’t be there even though it was all brand new. Throughout my time there I gained so much knowledge about lifting correctly, gained strength in ways I did not know I could, and I developed a real sense of community with the coaches and other members.Sadly to say I moved to Los Angeles and had to find a new box. I have been to many gyms here in LA and I got to tell you that even though I am now in the land of beautiful, fit people, the CF gyms I have been to do not compare to Aquila. The programming at Aquila is spot on, the knowledge of the coaches and attention to everyone’s form is unparalleled. Plus the community of people are amazing.I miss my gym but I will be back. Please if you want to “try” CF or are looking for something new, check them out. You’ll be glad you did! Thanks for taking time to read this.

Dan Martinez: Forest & his wife and trainers are AWESOME! I was coerced into joining their 30 day rapid fat loss bootcamp program by my friend Carolyn, at the last minute, and SO glad I did! Yes, it can be brutal, Yes, I was on a strict 1200 calorie/day meal plan, but the results have been amazing! In 30 days, I dropped nearly 12lbs, but cheated a couple days and ended up -10lbs at the end of the 30 day challenge, and lost 2 inches in waist, nearly 3% body fat, and several inches in legs and chest as well. It's a fun but productive environment, everyone in the classes are good people, the music is good, and it's 3 blocks from where I live in Land Park!I highly recommend Forest's classes and camps, and you WILL see results, but it is up to YOU, he's there to provide the info and sends out some amazing emails and videos along with positive energy, to say the least!DO IT.(UPDATE: I have dropped 20+ lbs and BMI% down to 13.5% from 22.5%. I attend bootcamp 5x a week for 45mins each session. Amazing workouts!
