Mulvaney's B&L: what do users think?

Brett Wenck: Attended a wedding reception here last weekend and was thoroughly impressed. Yoselin helped make everything come together beautifully. The serving staff Austin, Kaiya, Luis, and Johnny were incredible. Always around the corner with a passed appetizer, well-balanced drinks from the bar, and seemless service throughout the meal. Absolutely delicious diner. From beginning to end, I cannot compliment the Chef and kitchen staff enough. Thank you for an unforgettable evening.

Michael Slaughter: Always consistent with excellent service and food options! The staff and the chef are pleasant, fun , and will take great care of you!!Dietary restrictions: They will easily accommodate most dietary restrictions by offering various options to their menus

Michael E.: The service was especially good, and the food was really quite excellent. Portions were fine, not too small. Not cheap, but not at all unreasonable, as far as expensive restaurants go. A terrific choice for the special occasion of your choice.Vegetarian options: The waiter told us the chef would be happy to put together a vegetarian entree, and it did not disappoint.

Frank Frietsch: Excellent food and service, great outside seating!

FM Muñoz: We continue to have delightful experiences here - a result of the pleasant and happy staff paired with thoughtfully sourced and expertly crafted cuisine. Dining in this space you can feel that the team cares about the work they are doing and take pleasure in delivering excellent experiences to their guests. The service is warm and attentive, the cuisine is considered but not fussy - warm vibes and good eats, what else could one ask for? Highlights: winter BLT, Beet Panzanella, Pork Belly, you can’t go wrong.

Paige Jewell: We love this spot in Midtown, Sacramento. Its a true veggie paradise, as you can always get fresh local veggies with great pairings and sauces. I think it's nice when you can find a nice restaurant that has a variety of fresh, from the Earth food options. And to that point, mostly those options. It's a good break up from most restaurants who focus on meat and processed/fried options first. We loved the crudo, as it was a nice balance with the citrus and oil. The carpaccio was also amazing with the bread that was firm but not break your teeth hard.Wine list is great, middle of the road to not break the bank but some delicious choices. We went with the CA Pinot and were not disappointed. We've enjoyed brunch here too, also a great option!Staff makes you feel like you are eating at their house, they are polite and definitely passionate about the food. You must go if you haven't and my review sounds up your alley.Vegetarian options: Many fresh options!

Michael Guthrie: The best farm-to-fork restaurants in Sacramento. The staff is amazing the food is to die for. I like it so much I asked my wife to marry me here. We even had them cater our wedding. The drinks and food vary based on what is best in season.Vegetarian options: It's all fresh seasonal food. If it's in season you can get it. They always have a fantastic house salad.Kid-friendliness: Always welcome, it is geared towards adults. My daughter has been coming since she was born. Have seen many families here. Changing table in both bathrooms.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessable bathroom, front and side doors.

Nadia Pugh: as well as other small producers around the globe and stateside. Their seasonal menu keeps you guessing but some staples are the pork belly

Gurjeet Barayah: Magpie is the crown jewel of Sacramento's farm to fork restaurant scene.Top to bottom, their menu is really second to none. The highest quality of ingredients executed to perfection every single time.Over the years, have probably tried just about everything on their menu and can honestly say that I've never once been disappointed. In the post COVID world of restaurants, they have found a way to maintain their high quality without skimping on portions or inflating their prices. The place is a gem and our go to a nice meal out in Midtown.

Carissa Lemos: Love this place. Been here a few times now and its a favorite of mine. Chill vibes great happy hr drinks and food. A nice blend of casual/ formal setting. Perfect for a dinner date and or quick drinks or even a formal outting with family. And the dinner menu is on point. This is little hidden between barwest and harlows but a hidden jem. 🤩

Kat A: First time visiting and it was such a delight. It’s a very spacious bar with ample seating and booths. The atmosphere is very cool and so are the servers! Super friendly. They have some very tasty drinks as well and small plates for munching on. Perfect place to just kick back and hang out!

Ernest Quesada: Great atmosphere and the drinks and food were amazing. Good customer service and our waitress was very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Craig McCulloch: Great tasting food and excellent service. One of the top 5 or 10 restaurants in Sacramento.Parking: Mostly rely on street parking, as the lot behind the restaurant is small. May need to circle the block to find a spot.

Maxine Cottrell: The service staff and the kitchen clearly have an excellent understanding of timing and service without being stuffy or pretentious. We had starters and one of us had a 1st course, all of which were served smoothly, without rushing or overcrowding. The food, especially the fish special, was wonderfully done and appropriately seasoned. The wine selections were nicely complementary. We will look forward to dining here again.

Mark Tavianini: Delicious, high quality food but too small portions for what you're paying. It's easy to run up a $75-100 bill for two with an entree and a salad or appetizer. The wine prices are ridiculous, but for those who enjoy this sort of thing they're probably status quo.Dietary restrictions: They have lots of gluten free and some vegetarian options.

Cynthia Cooper: I had the veal with garlic butter, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Food presentation was blah. No color. It was good but more seasonings were needed. I believe everyone enjoyed their meal.Parking: It's a mall parking lot so parking can be a challenge to find. My party got lucky getting spots close to the door.

Myriam Liliana Ruiz Botero: It is a good place where the menu to choose comes with the amount of calories of the chosen dish, it is a good option for those who take care of this aspect; It also has an option of delicious desserts in a very appropriate size; You have to be very careful with meals that contain salmon, since 2 of the people I was dining with were poisoned, both dishes contained salmon.

Yashi Arch: Everything cooked to perfection. You will be totally satisfied and we will be back soon. Tatum our waitress was so sweet with a professional demeanor.

Bruce Fong: The restaurant is a very comfortable feeling place that seems like a cozy cottage. The ceiling is wood and the place is roomy. The staff are all very friendly and pleasant to talk to. They work smoothly to get the food to you out and answer plenty of questions. The food seems to be seasonal so you can not expect favorites to stay each time. For example on the website they advertise a roasted pineapple dessert but going into the restaurant they have a strawberry terrine. I really enjoy the seasonal food. It is tasty and inventive. The pea salad and desserts stand out as the most unique foods and very good to eat.Parking: The parking is on the street and was very full at 6 pm so I had to park a block away.

Chett Garcia: Delicious food, fresh ingredients and great energy in the place. For a really nice day or celebration, it is perfect!

Matthew Steinwert: Food was amazing and the services was outstanding.Very attentive staff and great at getting the food out and cleared quickly.Food tasted great. We were blown away by the bean dish. Couldn't belive beans could taste so good.

Raquel Bickford: I have been wanting to go to Canon for years and finally made it out to Sacramento for my birthday. The ambiance, food, and service were absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to go back! Definitely try the tots, whole fish, and the Chai Again cocktail. Chefs kiss!Dietary restrictions: They had a ton of gluten free options!

Pajo Gil: Today was a BD celebration! AGAIN, the restaurant did not fail to impress. The service, food, and the atmosphere were above reproach.Do yourselves a favor, and visit this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

Prabha Honrath: Nestled in the heart of Sacramento, this hidden gem of a restaurant has consistently stolen our hearts with its exceptional offerings. Boasting a seasonal menu that celebrates the freshest farm-to-fork ingredients, each visit is a delightful journey through the finest flavors. The culinary team's prowess shines through in every dish, but the standout for me has to be the seasonal scallops over risotto. The innovative twist of changing the risotto with each season adds an element of surprise, making it a tough task to choose a favorite. Yet, somehow, each rendition manages to surpass the previous, leaving a lasting impression of culinary excellence. The intimate ambiance of the restaurant sets the perfect stage for a romantic evening. Dim lighting, cozy corners, and window view create an atmosphere that's both sophisticated and inviting. It's no wonder that this has become our go-to choice for elevated date nights. Moreover, when we have guests in town, it's the first place we want to showcase - a testament to the restaurant's universal appeal. What truly sets this establishment apart is the extraordinary service. The warm welcome from the moment we step through the door, orchestrated by the owner and his attentive staff, is unparalleled. The personal touch, as the owner takes the time to walk through and greet each table, adds a special charm. It's this level of commitment to customer experience that transforms a meal into an unforgettable dining event. In a city filled with dining options, this restaurant stands out not only for its delectable cuisine but also for the complete experience it offers. For those seeking a perfect blend of seasonal delicious cuisine, intimate ambiance, and impeccable service, this culinary haven remains unmatched. Each visit feels like a celebration, making it a top choice for creating lasting memories.

Landon Linville: My son was in town for the holidays, so I wanted to have him experience the fantastic dining@Tablevine.From the start, my son noticed our table liason Ben's eye for detail. His attention to calling us each by our first name made everyone feel like family. The owner, Dan, always comes by our table, checking on us, welcoming us to his restaurant and providing his broad wine knowledge.Ken, the chief, was gracious and kind to check on us to make sure that our meals were exactly how we hoped they would be.From the start of the evening, through the last course, my family was thoroughly treated like valuable people.Thank you to Dan, Ben, Ken, Jordan, and all of the fantastic people@tablevine!We will return, very soon
