Holly Lepore-Foster: We had a great experience during the Covid 19 crisis. They only allowed 30 people total ! This was awesome since I usually avoid crowded public events in general, just not my thing. It made the whole vibe so relaxed since it wasn't overrun as it would be in a regular year. We felt so safe. The lifeguards were very strict about water safety and Covid Guidelines but still totally nice about it. They even offered a drop in one on one swim lesson for anyone and the lifeguards were enthusiastic with the kids - they even gave them an otter pop if they did a good job! My only complaint is the dirt line around the top pool on the tile - but the water itself looked very clean and clear. I would have given a 5 star if it wasn't for the dirt line. Thank you City of Sac for this awesome program I wish it could continue through the warm weather since our kids will be doing distant learning and it would give them something safe to do and look forward to. I wrote the Mayor but I doubt anything will happen.

Julian McCrann: Love the pool here! Facility is clean and usually spacious enough for you to enjoy a day in the sun.They are only open during the summer season so you got to check the hours online.The slides are never working tho?

Go early for plenty of space for pool activity with the children.They have do have place to change clothes and rest rooms.Lounge chairs available, but must come early.. they usually occupied of first come, first grab...lol.You can bring food and drink..BUT, you have to clean up after ter yourself. They have NO maid service.No free In and outs.

Matthew Melnick: Nice it was clean felt safe. Although very young life guards seem jaded. They have a attitude before you have a chance to give them a reason to be rude. Could just be a shield 🛡️ from jerks out there. Overall they were all nice people and they were very very attentive.

Mark Ruttley: Fantastic community pool.We were greeted by a very welcoming and helpful member of staff. The team obviously work well and the lifeguards were well drilled and professional - safety matters.The pool itself was a good temperature, clean and a pleasure to swim in.It would be nice if the hours of opening could be extended later in the evening for more people to enjoy it. Also the changing rooms could do with an upgrade.As a tourist I can only congratulate Sacremento on providing such an excellent facility.

The pool is currently open for lap swimming through the end of October 2021:CLUNIE POOL9/27/21 – 10/30/21Monday – Thursday:7:30am-9am, 12pm-1:30pm, & 5pm-6:30pmSaturday:10:30am – 12:30pmClunie Pool is then tentatively set to close until summer 2022. It was extended due to so many contacting the Sac Aquatics Dept to extend the swimming season. The Aquatics Director petitioned the City Council to extend the season and it was approved through Octobet with the current reduced hours of operation. The pool has just installed overnight covers to keep it from cooling down at night and a pool heating system, both which the pool never had before. With the upgrades we the taxpayers paid for, it's absurd the pool is slated for closure for the Fall through Winter seasons. If you want this pool to become a year round pool, you need to share such w the Sacramento City Aquatics Dept. Phone number and website readily accessible on Google and all the other internet search engines. And there are a number of life guards who desire to go from being classified as seasonal employees to year round employees. We spend untold millions to address local homelessness with little to show in measurable, progressive outcome data. We deserve Clunie to be a year round pool as it relates to the qualities of life Sacramento affords its citizenry. Call or write the Aquatics Director and your councilperson petitioning Clunie Pool not be slated for closure! When the people lead, the leaders will follow. Well sometimes! 🏊😃!

And eccercise and bring your sister or a friend ..aftetwards u feel great..no stress and a better mood for the rest of the day..i highly recommend it..its great! Nice staff too and clean .😊oh..pool could be just a lil warmer 😊
