Randy Chalenor: *** I came because they have Mousaka on their menue. Quite a bit different then the Greek version I've eaten before. I prefer a versions with less meat than this dish. Their lamb stuffed grape leaves also overwhelmed me with too much lamb, and I love lamb.I will be back to try lamb kabob.Parking: Very busy lot.

David Erlich: Emma is very attentive to my likes and dislikes, I’m a regular there and she asks every time I go in if I’m happy with the food and the service and it’s a yes every time now, because I told her about a critique I had about the bread being cold on the heated sandwich, and now it has always been nice and warm ever after telling her about it. I especially like their Samoon bread, I recommend the falafel sandwich.
Zach Norris: Absolutely spectacular! My wife and I took a bite at the same time and we simply sat and stared at one another. I don't know if we were just really hungry or if Mediterranean Bakery & Cuisine just hit the spot but WOW. I couldn't have been made happier by food. I can't wait to go in and explore the rest of their menu. The restaurant was a little busy when we were there but we didn't have to wait long and the staff was very nice.

Nathalie De Oliveira Hoffman: I wanted to try authentic, traditional Palestinian food to show my solidarity. I was visiting my sister in Sacramento, and she recommended Basha Taste of Jerusalem. They start you off with complimentary fresh baked flat bread and olive oil which tasted divine! We ordered the "Mansaf" lamb and chicken dish, and the "Maqluba" upside-down chicken and rice dish. It was absolutely phenomenal! The portions are very generous and we had lots of left overs to-go that tasted just as great the next day. I loved the interior décor and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town to try more dishes that are not common at generic "Middle Eastern / Mediterranean" restaurants.
