Joanne Taylor: It wasn't a huge deal, but I thought it was a bit sloppy. Now that the job is done, I have to haul a lot of items back to their original locations. Second, they weren't clear on what they were doing when. I would get random emails with no subject or clear sender saying things like they would be there between 6:30 and 7:30 AM the next day and they would expect payment that day for that portion. Luckily, we usually get up early anyways so we could let them in to do repairs and my husband worked from home so he could be there to make payments. If people are like me though, I work full-time outside of the home. I was only told up front that we had to be onsite when they started and when they ended. I wish they had given us advance notice on the plan of what was going to be done when. We could have made plans to be home when needed. These were inconveniences and were irritating, but again, the quality of the job was excellent and that's what really matters in the long run. I would recommend them to others. I would just make sure to have the repair plan and how they will communicate with you clarified before you start.

They tore down and replaced a large wood patio cover and re-sided a detached studio with cedar shingles. Ed and Carlos did excellent work--no detail left undone. Best contractor I have ever dealt with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Donald T: In early 2020 Igor and Alex repaired multiple points of dry rot along our fascia and soffits. The work order expanded when more extensive damage was revealed as the job began. They completed all the work well and at a fair price, including painting and cleanup.In April, 2024 we needed additional dry rot repair along several door jambs and window frames. Again Elite did a great job, efficient, fairly priced, and high quality work. Our go-to for exterior wood repair!

Jim Hill: My wife and I hired Elite Construction and Remodel to remove our house"s cedar shingle siding and replace it with Hardie primed planks, ready for painting. I initially hired Hardie because it was the middle priced bid from three contractors who we felt comfortable with. The project took about two months to finish. Most of the delays are related to the impact of winter weather or delays in receiving parts. The workers were nice, many of whom spoke Russian or another slavic language. The supervisor of each visit spoke English.Sometimes the weather caused the workers to rush to finish a section of the construction. This caused some minor errors, which were quickly corrected when I identified them. They were quite helpful in fulfilling the project's standards. Questions or concerns were responded to as quickly as possible. At the end we now have a newer looking house that the neighbors think looks real nice.

Linda Oliver: , the timing of the job, and my budget, they were so patient and helpful! Alex, the project manager, was incredibly communicative, texting me with updates, and change orders. He would respond to my questions in a few minutes...incredible! The installers couldn't have been more talented and professional. Side by Side Vacation Rental: . In all those projects there was something that didn't go right or I just wasn't happy with the results. With this siding project there was not a single issue and I couldn't be happier with the results. Communication was spot on. Nick answered my texts almost immediately. I can't say enough about the crew. Such nice guys and they had such attention to detail. They did above and beyond what we expected. I feel that we definitely got our money's worth. Added bonus, they cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day, so no living in construction debris. They also did the work so fast. My last project was supposed to take six weeks and it took five months. GVD did this project right on schedule. If you have a large project I would emphatically recommend them and will use them again.
Lynda Jackson: We are very happy with the beautiful job GVD renovations did on our kitchen remodel. They were very fast and the work is done very well. Alex was so easy to work with and always responded to questions/messages. We highly recommend them .
Scott Rager: We hired GVD to replace the siding on our house, install new flashing around our windows and doors, and a few other small home repairs. Although they weren’t the cheapest bid that we got, we are extremely happy with the work they did and really have no complaints. They were quick to respond to emails, kept us up to date with scheduling, and maintained a clean and safe working environment. I would absolutely recommend them for any home renovations, especially if it involves siding replacement/installation.
Linda Waits: Outstanding. Workers were timely, hard-working, highly skilled and polite. Working with project manager Alex was easy. The project was for new countertops and new backsplashes the cabinets were good and would remain - that raised a concern about damage to the cabinets during demolition. The job is now done, there is not a scratch on any cabinet and overall it looks stunning. I highly recommend this company.

The worker who took out the tub/shower combination and installed the required new plumbing and then the new shower did expert work and was the most efficient I have seen.
