Jess Cabe: It's a good place to park an RV when visiting the Sacramento area. They have 24 hr police, fire and EMS services on site. It's quiet, and in the middle of everything. Malls, food, groceries, golf courses and entertainment. It's not a resort but has all hookups.Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …

Joe Griffin: Sites are either paved or gravel, all are reasonably level. The RV Park has on-site security which patrols on a regular basis 24/7.

Ashley Lopez: We were here for a month for work and super spacious spots, staff is friendly and great dog parks and walking trails.

Jim Fister: For being in the middle of the city, this is a great place. Access from the freeway was not bad. The location is central to several freeways, so it's easy to get around. Check-in was easy, and staff were very friendly. The sites are okay. The blacktop is not in the best shape, and the sites are not level. We managed to get the trailer positioned, though it took a bit.The lot itself is right next to access to the Sacramento River trail, which offered a lot of walking options. For being in the middle of a city, it felt reasonably safe, and there were people on the paths constantly. Strong law-enforcement presence as well, which might be good or bad news.Though we likely don't plan to come to the area often, we'd stay here again if we did.

Don Thompson: Roads from I-5 are gridlocked during rush hour so before entering Sacramento we stayed at Rolling Hills Casino the night before -- then entered Sacramento around 11am so that traffic was less. Once in the RV Park the roads are wide and sites are sufficient even for multiple slides. There is evening noise from stadium events but it quiets down.Nearby activities: Centrally located to all Sacramento has to offer.

In All Thy Sons Command: It’s a parking lot but it’s in a quiet location, lots of stuff around youWill be staying here again forsureSafety: Security is good to go

Lisa Landry: Hotel highlights Quiet

Patric: Quiet park withnew and old RVs. The people i the ark seemed very friendly and even as close to the freeway it was quiet background sounds.Manager was on vacation but applications are in a box outfront so if no one is there at least you can apply. Neighborhoos is actually plentiful of stores and services..

Thad Ferguson: it was a sketchy neighborhood outside the gates and for us close to the freeway- it was fine as this is the standard for RV parks - for sure it is more of a long term kind of place - but they were able to do daily and weekly - great stay don’t let the park fool you from the outside! Will have to add photos later

Sandy Sergent: The reviews are right it is not in a great neighborhood. It is not a place where I would take my family but we're too very travelers who needed a week off of the road it was perfect for us. It's a three minute drive to a very safe area more importantly the cement walls and the barbed wire above coupled with the electric gate made us feel very safe inside the walls. Mostly year-round residence made very friendly neighbors and only add to the feeling of comfort. I cannot remember the gentleman's name but our host was very friendly and down to earth. It's been 10 minutes from a major shopping district with department stores, and awesome national major chains. I will definitely stay there again.

Luda Zamudio: It is very safe, I recommend it to all people who want

Stephanie Hull: The RV park was very nice very safe and the people that work there the staff was very helpful I thank them

John Fisher: Friendly staff. Site was a squeeze to get into.Noteworthy details: Next to a marshy river, mosquitoes.Location: 4/5 …

Paulino Casares: The cabins are nice, the batHrooms are spacious and the water gets to hot quick which is great on a cold night. The view is spectacular lake side with Canadian Geese that are always a pleasant sight first thing in the morning. Quiet and serene I highly recommend Sac West for a small getaway 😊Nearby activities: It's directly near a maverick gas station which has a fantastic grill inside.

Nancy Robello: We would gives them a five but they didnt have 50 amp at the pull through site we stayed at. Hopefully they upgrade all pull through sites soon. There’s so many big rig rvs now it’s needed. Staff are very friendly, park is very clean, easy check in, we didn’t use facilities. They have a awesome dog park with lots of walking areas. I also appreciate the daily garbage pick up. This is our 2nd time staying there we will be back. I didn’t take picturesSafety: It felt very safe and secure there.Walkability: Lots of areas to walk dogs, a nice mini mart which I feel is walkable

L Homemaker: Great campground for a comfortable stay while traveling. Access to WI-FI, pool, bike rentals, coin op laundry, hot showers on a stream. Tents, RV hookup and cabins with discounts offered for AAA and Sam's club members.Nearby activities: Sacramento is our State Capitol so the memorials, historic buildings, State Capitol building, museums and many other attractions.

Cody Lewis: We had an amazing time at sacwest... we were in town for the Golden sky festival!!! Let me tell you the staff at the this park are amazing.. not only a trash pick up service. They also set up a system of drivers and cars to pick up and drop off everyone that was in the park at the event... they charge half of what every other service offered and smiled about it the whole time... we WILL be back next year for the golden sky festival (as I already have our tickets boughten.. sac west we will be back next year and for any in the area events in the future... you guys and your park was an amazing time.... thank you you made our 20 year anniversary just amazing... honestly we will be making reservations for next year this weekend... thank you again.

Penny Fong: The bathroom/showers were clean. There was plenty of space for our trailer and truck. There was hook-ups for electricity.Location: 5/5 …

Steve Bacher: Laid back park on the Sacramento River. We showed up just as they were closing and the host was very welcoming. We only spent one night so we did not unhook. I would suggest backing into the upper lot because there was not enough space to swing around a 35 ft trailer. We bottomed out just a bit on the entrance since it is a steeper river grade.

Kulia Lemus: My son had a paintball tournament about 20 min away and we were looking for a nice place to setup our camper to save some money. This is a quaint RV park on the river that has power and water and on-site dump station. They also have nicely redone bathroom/showers which were perfect having boys that needed a shower and didn't have to use the camper shower. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

BILLY NEELEY: We stayed here for two day's all in all it was a good stay.real quite day and night.the sraff was decent. I would definitely stay here agin.Nearby activities: Fishing and boat docking.you can swim if you want. My dogs went swimming but the water is a little green for me.Noteworthy details: Bring your own food and drinks and fish bait if you plan on fishing

Helen Arens: Small, quiet rv park along the Sacramento River with lush trees and grass. Lovely river views. We had a fig tree full of ripe figs next to our spot. Water and electricity connections and a picnic table at each spot, with a dump station near the park entrance. You'll need jacks for some of the spots by the river to get level, but we have built-in jacks on our rv so it was not an issue. Friendly, helpful staff.

Jake: , hes very aggressive and rude to customers and his coworkers! The owner Jim has strict rules regarding noise and condition of RV's that he'll allow in and I 100% appreciate that he sticks to them. It helps create a peaceful stay! Despite living 3.5hrs away Ioved the place so much I'm back again this weekend!!

La Bizh Caraibe: The hosts are super friendly, attentive and find solutions to all problems. Cheap clean homes near Sacramento, the best way to be happy, see you soon!!!!The French

Dustin MacFarlane: Easy place to fill up on the water near Sacramento super helpful I sure as heck wish the self-service gas station would go higher than $75 a pop it takes me about 10 or 12 transactions to fill up the tanks if it’s after hours so I guess I should try to get there during the day anyway great service nice folks and highly recommend

Keith Vanoncini: and Angel was a big help not fully knowing all the stuff i needed and and other things i should know. Next time i do a staycation i will for sure be coming here. I also met many great new friend's here. Love this place.

Sacramento Shade RV Park: what do users think?

Jennifer Cuellar: I stayed at this park for almost 6 months while fulfilling a work contract. I have had nothing but a great experience. This park is very safe, clean and definitely well kept by management. Well shaded lots that are fenced and a small yard. I have seen quite a bit of renovations done during my stay which has really made this a very nice RV park. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a longer term place to stay.

Glenn Skawski: are great. Very safe and secure.

Cindy Hoppe: The park was very nice. I felt completely safe. Don't break any rules ,the rule enforcer doesn't have very good people skills. All in all, it was a very nice park.

Corey Fronek: , have a playground for kids to play on, they have free DirecTV and WiFi, they have showers and a restroom on site, and they have full hookups.

Karla Bauer: This is a nice park, very clean with fences in between each site for privacy. The sites are tight getting in and out, but a few back and forths and no problem in our 30 ft motorhome. The Manager Bruce was very nice, even a bit chatty. I would stay here again my next time through Sacramento.

Larry Gromer: Though the park is close to a questionable area of town, the inside of the park is very quiet and cozy. Well maintained lots, and friendly staff make for a great combination. We plan on staying indefinitely.Noteworthy details: This is a RV Park, not a motel
