Today I was blessed enough for my bike to break right outside of the shop and my guy Addison got me back on the road lickidy split . To top it off I didn’t even have my wallet on me at the moment and he offered to let me come back and pay but I was able to sort the matter out. I will definitely always be coming back here just because of my interaction with Addison. Leane Rutherford: Very accommodating especially for little, on-the-spot adjustments. The tilt on my new saddle needed to be slightly adjusted. I rode my bike to the shop, brought it in, and voila, it was tended to--with a smile. Now, that's downright neighborly.

Stephanie Lee (StayFunny): First of all-- OPEN on Sunday. One of my bikes had been sitting for years, and the last 6 months it was outside, so I brought it here for a checkup as a walk-in. Real quick, they checked the brakes, checked and lubed the chain for me, it's a single speed, so no gears to check, but also pumped up the tires and said to give it a couple days to see if they hold since it had been sitting for so long. They shared some info on bike ergonomics with me and sent me on my way, no charge. Everyone was friendly and pleasant when I was there. They checked in with each customer as they entered the shop, and took care of the quicker tasks first. I will definitely be back.

They will even indulge your weird requests and get very creative, such as when they rigged up an extra set of brake levers on the horns of the Velo Orange Crazy Bars on my cargo bike. Shima Maceo: The employees here went above and beyond to help a stranded Canadian fix a flat tubeless tire. I was 5 km from my hotel and thankfully this shop was a couple of blocks away when I flatted. They were helpful, kind and went the extra mile. They also recommended a great little coffee shop nearby where I could get a coffee while waiting for the flat fix. It’s this kind of experience that gives me faith in humanity.

4worldlovers: The Sacramento Bicycle Kitchen (SBK) is a community-centered bicycle shop serving the residents of Sacramento. The organization was formed in order to promote cycling as a low-cost, alternative form of transportation; enable self-sufficiency through knowledge of bicycle maintenance; and promote bicycle safety through education and classes.
SBK wants to improve bicycling in Sacramento by making bicycle maintenance, repair, and training more widely available to everyone, regardless of skill level. To this end, we provide the space, tools, and staff necessary to help patrons learn how to perform any bicycle repair need they may have, all in exchange for a minimal cash donation. Besides running the bike shop, we also try to offer maintenance and safety classes and community outreach projects.
SBK relies on volunteers and donations to keep our doors open; visit our volunteer page for info on volunteer requirements and our donations page for the why, what, when, hows of donating!

Michael Mcnamee: I love this place I recently donated a new never ridden bicycle because they give them to underprivileged children which is wonderful but I wanted purchase a few parts to repair others which I build and give to homeless people who need them but one person who works there wanted to charge me 30 dollars for few parts that were not worth 5 never had been charged that much for anything before and after I donated a100$ new bike I was seriously disappointed with this individual but they are still a very awesome non-profit organization

Bob Bogart: Steve built me a custom steel bike about 8 years ago. I ride it several times a week and probably have close to 7000 miles on it. I always get complements on how clean the bike looks, and how great the paint job is. I feel that I really got my money's worth. Bike is comfortable and makes me want to ride more.
JoAnne Obata: Brought my trusty tri bike in for a tune-up several months ago and Rex Cycles did an outstanding job. Brought it in for a minor adjustment today, Dean popped it on the stand and fixed her right up. I love this bike shop!! Christina Williams: Fixed my son’s wheel to his scooter for 50 bucks. We brought our own tire in as he stated it would be weeks on back order. Only took a few days.
Bruce Brummett: This shop is awesome -great customer service and support- I had a hard to find part missing on my JETSON electric bike and their shop mechanic was able to find one for me and get me going. This will definitely be my “Go To” shop from now on.
ELDER YAHUDAH: I am late leaving this review by at least 6 months or so. I have a electric bike and need to replace my planetary gear. I know how to do it, but did not have a bench vice to tap the gears in place which goes inside of the hub motor. I call these guys up and they said come on down. In fact, I went in, and it was done in about 10 minutes. They literally took the time out of their schedule to get me back on my bike. The front desk gentlemen was awesome and we had great conversation. The big guy in the back, the bike repairman was as cool, calm and nice as they come. They would not even charge me and I was ready to pay. Conclusion: Communication *5, Business Ethics *5, Workmanship *5. I will actually be seeing them again soon and won't hesitate to pay them for getting this disabled vet back on his bike. Thank you guys a lot.

mark dowden: So I've taken my go track scooter to the electric bike shop twice 1st time to get a flat tire fixed which they were completely awesome about doing had it done in a reasonable amount of time for reasonable amount of money and the 2nd time I took my scooter in to get solid tires put on it so that I don't deal with the flats cause there's a suggestion and I'll tell you what I couldn't be happier with my scooter I couldn't have been happier with my service and the guys there at the shop are awesome I will bring my scooter back there for every little detail that I can just so that I don't personally have to do it myself

Restaurant, a Margarita at Zócalo's Restaurant or some groceries at Grocery Outlet on Capitol, you can do it ALL while they work on your bike 🚲They made riding back to school 🎒 fun again for our teenager and we can't thank them enough!Love their artsy atmosphere and garage setting that is all about having fun while doing something they clearly love and have a true talent for!Spend money where it matters in our community! Kevin Marr: Brian is the best! Hooked me up with a sweet deal on this sweet State bike. Not only did I get the price I asked for, but he gave me a second set of tires and put my rack and handlebars on from my old bike to boot! All done super fast and my new bike works great.
Hynrgee: I purchased a used bike that needed some work for a weekend visit to San Francisco. I called yesterday asking if walk-in business was advisable. I spoke with Brian who explained that if I just wanted new tubes and tires, walk-in was okay. If I wanted a tune up, he advised an appointment so I made it for 10AM as he opened. I dropped off the bike, Brian did a quick assessment, paid for the service and some parts, and Brian told me he would text me when done. Sure enough, I received a text at 1:45. All the work was done. I picked up the bike. He said that in addition to the tune up, he did some work on the Shimano shifters and replaced some bearings. He gave me some other advice that I appreciated and then took a ride. It was a different bike than what I took in. It was smooth, quiet, and with the new saddle, comfortable. Great service and great work!

We recently bought a couple ebikes and unfortunately edible pedal bike shop does not do any sort of repairs even change a flat tire or replace a chain on an ebike. If they did do minor repairs on ebikes they would get 5 stars otherwise don't hesitate to take your non ebike to this place you won't regret it.

He not only fixed what needed to be done, but also repaired items not on the list. tara reasoner: . By the end of my conversation with Ben I went from swearing off bicycles and wanting to return a product to purchasing products from him and cancelling my request to return it. Ben then showed me how to load my bike, went over any questions I had and really just made the entire experience enjoyable. He went above and beyond my expectations and really turned the entire day around. I can’t thank him enough or recommend the store to anyone I talk to. On top of that there were several other team members working. While there I listened to how they spoke to the customers and interacted with a few. Every one there seemed knowledgeable, courteous and overall happy to be around. I wish when I ordered my bicycle from Electra I would have just picked Trek Midtown to begin with and definitely can’t thank them, especially Ben, for everything they did.

Most notably, they put through warranty paperwork for a complete frame replacement for my road bike and did all the swapping work when it arrived. I have been without a vehicle since Covid and life has been tough these last few years. My bike is my only way to and from work and I needed some work done on it. They were so attentive to my time, budget constraints and just generally AWESOME. Instead of talking down my bike they were encouraging and caring and helped me stay on the road which is important when you work in the burbs with no reliable transportation. I am embracing the bike lifestyle for financial and health reasons and when I am ready to upgrade, Trek has more than earned my business. Thank you for a great experience.

Oscar Navea: Went in today to swap an airless tire I bought online because my original rear tire had gotten a flat and was bent. Jeff was incredible and patient walking me through the process for the installation of the tire I brought. The prices were transparent, the customer service was exceptional, considerate and knowledgeable. I would gladly come back for future servicing or repairs.
Dave Park: Taking my eight year old trek hybrid here for a tuneup was like taking it to a time machine. It's like a brand new bike all over again. I am genuinely blown away. The gears are so whisper quiet, it might actually be in better condition now than when I bought it.

Donuts and Coffee: Cool place I’ve bought some parts from here a few times. The people are cool and they sell new and used bikes and frame sets and parts, I like that. They have all kinds of cool used bikes from various era’s. Bmx, road, mountain bikes and frame sets they have good prices too. I dig it. 5 stars.

Damion Bolton: I can't give the owner and his crew more props. They know their stuff... bicycles have been the main focus of this gentleman's reality for as lo g as he remembers! Due to his extensive knowledge of all things cycles and his deep, and I mean deep inventory Sutterville Bicycles destroys all competition in the Sacramento area. What his in stocks inventory may lack he clearly makes up ten fold in his salesmanship and passion infused participation throughout the buying process. He has never told me no on the countless out of the box random requests I have made throughout the years I've had the pleasure of doing business with these guys, based on that alone I give em ten stars check these guys out now!!!

Rudy hand picked my classic Japanese Miyata e fixie 312 out of his selection of classic bicycles .Harvey installed the top brand bafang motor after the battery was installed during first test ride event it was obvious that this baby girl was built for speed i highly recommend this used one stop shop because i cant imagine anywhere else to find such a selection of quality used bicycles. Rudy and Harvey can specialorder a new factory ebike from a small selection that have been picked for there sensible design, or build you a custom ebike to your liking by using a quality brand bafang kit and battery.The results will satisfy. I am more than satisfied with my classic custom e fixie.

Kirk Campbell: This is the best kept secret in Sacramento for bike repairs. So easy to bike to being right off the American River Parkway bike trail. The staff is awesome. They are knowledgeable and may not even charge for quick minor repairs. Their prices are very reasonable and they have quick turnaround times.
